Rolling security shutters for residential doors and windows are not common in this area of Tennessee.  They are very common in residences in hurricane-prone locations, due to their excellent protection.  Rolling security shutters, nationwide, for commercial applications (e.g., pharmacies, retail stores, etc.) are common.  However, as the security benefits (home protection) and excellent deterrent value are better known, I believe they will become more common.
My purchase and installation included a set of French Doors in my Master Bedroom, a sliding glass door leading to an outdoor patio, and several other windows and doors.  Do not be shocked at the overall price I paid.  This is the norm if you want top-quality, professional installation, and powered shutters (NOT manually opened and closed).  You can get a cheaper price by using manually-operated shutters.  But, trust me, if you make this purchase, choose the powered (non-manually operated) alternative.
The entire process of receiving an estimate, taking extensive measurements, and installation of the shutters was excellent, and I cannot be happier.  Ron Moore Enterprises is superb in every respect.  They are very experienced, and you do NOT want an inexperienced crew to install your shutters.  Trust me, this is NOT a do-it-yourself venture.  Ron Moore's primary customers are commercial applications (e.g., pharmacies, retail stores). But, they have extensive residential experience.
