Robert Young's Plumbing

We live in an old ranch with no updates in the baths. Mr. Young was able to locate new faucets that worked in the old tub and and worked on everything sealing with silicone etc. so now what was a good sized trickle is nothing. He also replaced the shut off valve so water to the house can be shut off anytime without involving the water dept. Everything we asked for was done well. I explained to him that we wanted simple effective fixes and did not need to totally redo and he delivered quality work at a reasonable price. We have more work for him. I heartily endorse Mr. Young.

Bobby did a great job. Getting the replacement shower diverter took some time. It had to be ordered and shipped. Bobby kept me informed along the way.

Bobby was punctual (arrived before appointment) and determined there were a few options, one of which would require him to search for an older part yet would be less expensive. He quickly found that part and returned to quickly replace the valve and cost less than originally expected. Thanks Bobby. Both Bobby and Hans did a great job and were very pleasant. I would definitely use them again.

They did a great job. Replaced a moen faucet in our shower that was not working properly.

I had a house full of visiting international guests for whom I was cooking meals, so I considered the lack of a kitchen faucet an emergency. I phoned Robert Young leaving a message and Robert returned the call almost immediately. He was sick and could not come himself but told me he would try to find someone and would call back. Just a short time later Robert called back saying his brother would be there within a couple of hours as soon as he finished another job. In the meantime I went out and purchased a new faucet for the replacement. With some diligent diagnostic work, the plumber actually was able to save the old faucet and he repaired it as good as new. I doubt that many plumbers would have done the same since the work was very tedious. So I returned the new faucet and all is well. Robert Young definitely will be my first call from now on for any plumbing needs.

Everything about the experience was great. They were timely, professional, and knowledgeable. They quickly diagnosed and repaired the issue the next morning after I called and were fairly priced. I would not hesitate to use them again for future plumbing needs.

Called Robert in the morning and he came out that afternoon. He and his assistant went right to work. They tried to complete the work in the most cost effective manner without compromising quality. They unclogged and cleaned the drain, and tested to make make sure it working properly. He even made some recommendations to avoid the problem in the future.

We were very pleased with the service we received. Mr. Young came the same day we contacted him and did a great job. He and his assistant even took the time to make friends with our temperamental dog. We were so pleased with his work and his price that we are having him come back next week to replace our hot water heater.

Amazing customer service. I called Bobby because my kitchen sink was clogged and he was here in less than an hour. He explained the problem and all the things they were doing to fix it. I will definitely be using Bobby for all my plumbing needs!

Bobby was responsive, on time, and professional.  Was sincerely interested in my being happy with the work and ensuring that the work was done properly.  More reasonably priced than the other 2 plumbers I contacted.  I definitely recommend him.

I am so thankful I found Robert on Angie's List. He is the most professional and truthful plumber I've come across. He had the job done for us in less than 24 hours of me calling him. He arrived on time, explained the problem in terms I understood, explained my options to repair or replace along with cost involved. He gave me the price to replace including taxes and everything up front which from my research online, was VERY reasonable. He cleaned up after himself, and was very courteous. Like another reviewer posted about him, we've found our family plumber! Thank you!

We couldn't be happier that we found Bobby! We are having our guest bathroom tub surround re-tiled. Since we were opening up the wall we felt it was a good time to also replace the fixtures. We initially had called Mr. Plumber to do the work but they wanted to charge an outrageous amount. Knowing it was much higher that normal, we decided to look around. We put a hold on our tile guy and went to Angie's list. Bobby responded to my inquiry the next morning and set up a time with me to check out the work two days later. To my delight, the quote was much more reasonable and a very happy bonus, he could do the work that day! The work is now done and we couldn't be happier. Bobby and the guy who actually did the work (Tony), were very nice and professional. Bobby even called me when the work was done to make sure I was happy with the results. We feel we have found our family plumber and will definitely use Bobby and team again.

I came home from work on Monday night and discovered I had a water leak.  I shut off the water from the water main and went looking for a plumber on Angie's List.  I sent Bobby a msg thru Angie's list late Monday night, describing where I thought the leak was- just outside the house in the main pipe bringing water into the house from the street.  He called the next morning and we set up a time when he could come out.  He was in the middle of another job so we agreed to him coming out on Wednesday to assess the situation and discuss what would need to be done.  He had warned me he probably wouldn't be able to repair the leak that day.  He and his brother, Hans, came out on Wednesday afternoon and, while Bobby and I are talking about where the leak most likely was, Hans goes to work digging to pin the leak down.  He located it where I thought it was, and cleared the dirt around the pipe.  Bobby explained what kind of repair was needed, what part he needed to get and why.  Hans pointed out that the PVC pipe was cracked by a rock.  The repairs included decreasing the number of elbows in that section and replacing the PVC w/a brass straight pipe and brass connector to decrease tension and the risk of another leak occurring.  The hole was filled in and put back the way it was previously - no trees or plants disturbed. 
They were both polite and professional, explained all clearly, and went the extra steps to repair the pipe with better materials.  Bobby also repaired the hole in the garage where water from the leak was able to seep in and sealed around where the main pipe comes in through the garage wall.  Lastly, he checked out my water heater to insure no future problems there, and checked overall water pressure.
All in all a pleasant experience for something that usually is not pleasant at all.  His price was fair.  He'll be the plumber I call if I have any further problems with anything having to do with plumbing.

Connected bathroom sink. However, we did not take offer to move sink which was an additional charge.  Somewhat disappointed he tried to get more money. Perhaps he was being informative and helpful to say do it that way.

adCalled  Mr. Young  after obtaining his name from Angie's list and called his service.  He called me back almost immediately and after hearing of our problem, (water company had told us we had a leak that was going to cost us $$$$$$ if we didn't fix quickly) he told us what to do till he could come the next morning.  He came as promised and did an excellent job repairing the water line with copper pipe and cleaned up the site as well. His work appears to be excellent and we would certainly recommend him to friends!

We had a leak with an uncertain origin. Bobby came out and took a look at the situation and offered possible scenarios as well as options for resolution. In the end, we needed to replace the water heater and update some of the piping, a pressure gauge and some valves.
He was very straight forward  - which I appreciate - and up front with what the situation entailed. He made sure I understood the full problem and he took the time to understand my budget and offered me options where able.
He ran a little late in arriving, but he called and let me know he was running behind and made sure the change in time was workable. On the reverse side, he took the time that was needed to get my new waterheater replaced on the same day.
We had to remove a lot of stuff to get to the water heater; they helped with all of it and put it back again afterwards. It was a bit messy afterwards d/t to plaster and wood debris. It was mostly cleaned up and I was able to easily clean the rest of it later. 
I would recommend Bobby for future work and will definitely call him for future plumbing issues.

It was fine, very accommodating to my schedule and helps me with the problem that I was having. It was reasonable. He knows what he was doing and good quality work. I would use him again in the future.
