"The first quote was accidentally provided to the customer without the tile work discount. The initial quote was $16,000 after revising it to reflect the discount for the tile work it brought the quote to $14,000. A couple days later, the customer asked for several items totalling $7000 to be removed from the quote as it was out of her budget. The only categories she was interested in was the tile portion and the plumbing associated with the tile work. The items removed no longer qualified it to be a full remodel which then made it ineligible for the tile special."
"Prior to the bookcases being installed it was brought to the homeowner's attention that the floor was out of level. Installing the bookcases as they were originally intended to be installed would have made the issue very obvious. There was an onsite meeting to determine the best way to install the bookcases as to minimize attention to the floor and achieve the best look. At this time the homeowner was satisfied with the solution. Every aspect was documented and the homeowner signed the documention. At no time was she ever told that we could not level the floor. The scope of work to correct the issue would have involved removing cabinets and and countertops in the adjacent part of the kitchen. The homeowner decided she was not willing to undergo this type of repair. Daily phone calls were not made to collect the balance of what was owing. In fact the homeowner contracted for additional work prior to the completion of the job. As per company procedure a return visit was made at the completion of the project. At no time was any additional work promised."
"Members were a pleasure to work with. They new what they wanted and understood the timeline and scope of work involved to get the job done correctly."
