One end of our mobile home had settled down and it was not level. Finding someone to re-level the home was difficult. Mr Reno was the only person we could find around the Atlanta area. (We are located in Gainesville, Ga)
Mr. Reno got back with us quickly, and called us when he was on his way.
He made it clear what prep work he would need done by us, the homeowners, before he came, as to not have to charge us more for of his time.
Although he could not give us an exact quote before coming, he gave us a price range of $750 to $950. He clearly indicated to us that after looking at it and giving us a price, and we decided not to use him, he would charge us travel free, which would have been $75.
On the day of the job, he was on time, and did the work without delay. When he found some cinder blocks under the girders that were cracked, he asked if we wanted to replace them and gave us the price ($75 each replaced block). He supplied the blocks (he also supplied the wedges to do the leveling).
We kind of felt we were "at his mercy' in pricing, because we contacted about 20 mobile home services and non of them done re-leveling. He was the only one we found in the area.
We did not give him a "A" on professionalism, because he did not remove broken blocks, and left old wedges scattered around the edges of the underfloor. He also smoked cigarettes, but we didn't have a big problem with him smoking because he was outdoors, but other people may have a problem with that.
He had a wealth of knowledge about mobile home issues. We would use him again, because he did good work and was on time.
