Good company. The major snag was that they accidentally deleted my account information (I am the owner). I had to deal with police calls-my renters were out of the country. Also, I paid for a repair visit because the alarm on the exterior basement door they had installed 7 years ago kept going off. The worker adjusted the location of the sensors and this stopped that problem. I also had an issue with the monitoring unit. The owner said I needed to replace it and the price he quoted was above what I was seeing it should cost online. The worker came out, cleaned the monitor and now it works like new. I like the workers-they get an A+. The company owner gets a B. He is rather abrupt but he is a nice person.

I have used other alarm company in the past and I will not use anyone but Protection Concepts. They were very professional, knowledgeable, prices were fair, and they follow up with you and easy to get in contact with if needed.

Great! Jules, the owner, is very detailed. His techs are so clean and considerate. Overall very happy with our system, we use it daily.

We have used them for 4 or 5 years, and they are really good and cheap. They explained everything, and showed us how it really worked and they showed how it works when we have any concerns and how it works with windows and things like that. They are cheapest around.

Protection Concepts was one of four companies I researched and called
for estimates for a home alarm service. I chose them because the owner
Jules returned my call soon after I placed my inquiry, and Jules bent
over backwards to accommodate my schedule when we needed to meet for an
estimate. Jules even came to my office to make it easier for me to sign
the needed paperwork.
His workers installed three glass break
sensors and a basic alarm panel, and a cellular link to the monitoring
center (We don't have a phone land line). The installers came on a
weekend -- that was the only time I was available-- and were on time.
They were neat, taught me how to operate the system, and cleaned up
well.
Jules promised that the monitoring service would call
within seconds if the alarm was set off, and this has proved to be the
case. We've had some false alarms, and each time they've called within
30 to 45 seconds. We had a small problem when the alarm panel
erroneously told us that the system's battery was low, and a
representative from Protection Concepts was able to tell my husband how
to fix the problem within minutes.

They were absolutely awesome. It was fantastic. In fact, one of the owners is the one that came out and he lives in downtown Atlanta. He came out on Friday, and I told him that my husband worked downtown and wouldn't be home until after 7, and he came out here. He was very thorough, in fact, some of the things that I was asking about such as additional sensors and glass break sensors, which would have made him more money, he told me they kind of redundant. That it would just be spending money for something that I didn't need. So, he actually saved me money. One thing I liked about them, as opposed to a different home security company, is they don't have a delay. He explained that typically when an alarm goes off, they may delay up to two or three minutes to give me time to reset the alarm before the service will call me. If someone breaks into the house, two or three minutes is like a lifetime. I was very, very pleased that these guys do not have a delay. I know that for a fact because I have accidentally opened my backdoor forgetting that I had the alarm set and the alarm is going off, and before I got back across the room to the phone from turning the alarm off, the phone was ringing and it was them. I have had this happen several times and they call me back in under a minute. They are absolutely awesome. The installer was very thorough and very professional. Bless his heart, he was here all day long because I had a full perimeter system installed. I have glass break sensors and motion detectors on the rooms downstairs and upstairs. He was here a minimum of 8 hours. He was very polite. I felt sorry for him, I was trying to feed him a sandwich because he was here all day but he said that he had brought something with him. He just went out to his truck in the driveway, ate his sandwich and came back in and finished the work. He was really good about explaining to me and my husband how to program the alarm. He told us how to check it and walked us through and showed us each piece of equipment that he installed and explained its function to us. He didn't just hand us a book and tell us to read it. He had been here a long time, I know he was tired, I had quite a few things done. He was very professional. I think I offered him coffee and he did actually accept that because it was cold. He always had booties on his feet and it wasn't raining. He went everywhere, up in the attic and down in the basement as well. I was so pleased with them. Apparently, he is a long time employee, which I think most of their employees are. I think the man explained that they have three different call services in three different parts of the country that call me if the alarm goes off that way if one center is having problems with their phones another center can call. They were fantastic. I have recommended them nearly everyone in our neighborhood. I give them an A+! Their price was very good. Another thing that is fantastic is that I'm not locked into a contract. They just depend on the fact that they offer very good customer service and that I won't leave. I will be their customer for a long time.

I had contacted several companies about installing an alarm system. I chose Protection Concepts because they offered a no pressure sale, very competitive pricing, and a very low monthly monitoring fee which can be paid once a year if desired. They also offer no contracts after you get past the initial one year period. David, the installer, did the initial setup. He really knows his systems and was very thorough and professional. Besides installing the typical motions, the install also included heat and smoke detection. This was a large job and it was completed with minimal impact on sheet rock and trim. There were also two follow ups, one when a wire got accidentally cut, and once to replace a defective window sensor. Neither issue was caused by the company, and they took care of the sensor and svc call at no charge. I have tripped the alarm twice by accident since having the system, and both times I received a call from the monitoring center within several minutes. Comforting to know the system actually works and get responses! I am very pleased with this company and would recommend them for their services.

Protection Concepts has provided good, quick service. They called almost immediately when our alarm went off. Everyone I've dealt with here has been cordial and professional. We have no complaints about this company. We pay a monthly fee.

Protection Concepts are very responsive which makes us feel more secure than if we didn't have the system. The customer service department has been very helpful to us. I think they provide a well-managed service. We're hooked into the fire and police departments and 911. We pay them annually.

Timely and professional, the sales and install went very well. No pressure on the sales call, I called him a week later to ask more questions and he came back out to explain. At that time, I decided to use them and we went through what the house needed. Jules would suggest items, but would not push them if I didn't want them. The install arrived on time and did an excellent job.
