Highly recommend!!! Joe was fantastic! Complete professionalism from start to finish. He worked within my limited budget. He removed all the wet carpet and helped me choose the best replacement for our needs. The new carpet looks great and he even followed up a week later to make sure we still liked everything.

Joe is a professional who communicates well, shows up on time, and does quality work. He restretched carpet in several rooms and repaired a tear in a seem on the carpet for me. I would hire him again and would recommend him.

Joe had to come in behind another company (NOT an Angie's List member!) who had done an extremely poor job with the installation.  Joe is professional, courteous, punctual (and very nice) and he did a wonderful job for us.  I would highly recommend Joe and Precision Carpet Installation & Repair if you need carpet installation done, and done right!!

Joe responded to my phone call promptly and gave me an estimate based on my description of work to be done. He was able to give me a quick appointment, He arrived on time and was pleasant and professional. He did an excellent job using carpet I had saved from having hardwoods installed. He was very mindful of the new floors and left everything very clean. I would certainly call this company again and highly recommend this service.

I can't begin to say enough good things about the service performed. Professional and detail oriented are the two that come right to mind. Everything was done to perfection and it's obvious they are true craftsman to their trade. I plan to use them in the future for any future carpet install.

I would never use them again. It is terrible. They worked terrible, and then he charged me like $300 to do it, it was way too much. He did come pretty quick.

Pete and his helper were spectacular! They called me to let me know that they were on their way. Prompt, on timer, courteous. Returned all of my calls quickly. They did a great job and cleaned up meticulously.

I contacted my original installer to repair some carpet work they had done for my contractor when he finished our basement 3 years ago. Not under warranty, and not easy to get on their schedule for the repair work. After a few months of sending emails and trying to schedule an appointment, I gave up and decided to join Angie's List and see who else was out there. Enter Precision Carpet with an and quot;Aand quot; rating, wonderful reviews and close to my neighborhood. Talked to Joe on a Thursday, and despite my busy schedule, Joe was able to schedule me for the following Wednesday - Perfect!
Joe called me a day in advance (as he had promised) to confirm my availability. We were all set.
His arrival was early, and he greeted me with a smile and a handshake. We went into the basement, and he saw the first test .. stretch carpet in a room that contained built-in cabinets that sat on top of the carpeting and were at different depths. After understanding how this is done, I could see why this was going to be a challenge. We thought of different options, but he continued to be concerned about and quot;how will it lookand quot;, and and quot;will I be happy with the outcomeand quot;. Clearly this was Joe's priority.
After much careful thought, Joe began his meticulous work. Over the next 3 hours he identified all the flaws in the orginal install (no tack strips in one area, poorly trimmed padding), corrected them, and completed the work with a quality workmanship that I wish I had received from the original installer. Oh .. did I mention he didn't blink when I asked him to help me move the furniture out of, and back into the room.
Next, in a recreation room, we have indoor/outdoor turf that is attached to the cement with adhesive. When this is laid poorly, and quot;bubblesand quot; are created. Restretching is not an option. Joe spent the next hour carefully applying new adhisve with a syringe, and working out the bubbles. It looks wonderful.
Joe's price was fair and appropriate given the time and care he took. He also took the time to fully clean up and vacuum after he was completed. If I needed any other repair work done, or I was carpeting an entire room/house brand new, I wouldn't give it a second thought on who I would call. My first experience from Angie's List has been a great one ... I find it interesting that Joe's rating is an and quot;Aand quot; for all the obvious reasons, and that my original installer is a and quot;Cand quot;.

Joe was on time. He loved my dogs. This man is a quality working machine. The carpet is gorgeous, laid to perfection and no clean up for me. He is absolutely the cream of the crop. The price was fair, his work ethic is phenomenal. Joe is a craftsman from the old school. Comparing my past experience with the big box store and Joe...there is no comparison. I had workman who didn't speak English, laid the carpet 180 off the plan, laid carpet from someone else (and the big box store said and quot;it's better then the one you picked outand quot;....yeah...right. They left over an inch of NO carpeting around the bottom of the doorways, the stairs and raggedy edges everewhere. Suffice to say....Precision Carpet is quality. And if I was not happily married I would ask Joe on a date!

very high. Joe was very pleasant on the phone, and just as conscientious when dealing with my daughter who was onsite in my place, since I was out of town. Joe had my daughter call me so he could explain what needed to be done, and to verify the cost before he began the work. This gave me a real sense of comfort that the work would be perform as discussed. I would definitely call Joe, if additional work is needed and would recommend him for additional work.

They were absolutely perfect. I do a lot of business through them and I send a lot of customers to them for referrals. They did such a good job in my home. Over the years I have used them a couple of times. I had them redue some carpet that had worn out about 9 months ago. The owner is very knowledgeable in his field and I always take his advice. The one thing that his company does that other companies don't do, is they always power stretch the carpet He is very honest and he has a lot of integrity. I wished Angie's List would let me give him an A+.

Joe provided exception service. He and his helper arrived on time, thoroughly reviewed all the wall-to-wall carpeting in our house. He pointed out several areas that would benefit from restretching, but left the final decision to me as to which areas I wanted done. They moved all the furniture, worked on the carpets, then moved the furniture back. They did a terrific job. In the master bedroom there were literally 5 long rows of loose carpet that ran the length of the bedroom, that we have just lived with for the 8 years since we moved in. I thought there would be no way that the carpet could be restretched to lay flat and look normal. After Joe got finished, he removed 4-5and quot; of extra carpet that should not have been there if the original carpet layers had done a better job. Now the carpet lays flat and looks perfect. I wish we had not waited the 8 years to get it restretched! This turned out to be much cheaper than buying new carpet.

Joe was very prompt and professional. He was dilligent in showing me why the carpet was buckling (tack strips were not properly nailed down) and then corrected the problem. He added new tack strips to the thresholds where they were missing and he vacuumed around the baseboards where the original installers left staples and debris. He also provided an excellent stain remover that I was able to get rid of an old pet stain (I was doubtful it would come out but it did). Originally, I thought this would take an hour or less since we had all the furniture out, but Joe took his time and was very meticulous. Still, the price was exactly as he quoted, NO add-ons or strong-arm salesmanship, just a professional tradesman who takes pride in his work.

I paid about $3000 on that service. I decided to hire them because of the quality of their installation and that they have an excellent reputation as far as doing it correctly. Pretty much everything stood out about them; they were very professional, very timely, and courteous. They were very careful with all the furniture and it was a totally professional company.
