He works with his son and seems to be able to address nearly any issue. Fair pricing and response time. Would use him again for sure.

The owner is perhaps one of the most intelligent people I have ever used. His knowledge of heating and air conditioning, refrigeration, appliances and no doubt other construction related work is very impressive. I actually respect him and his sons a great deal. Their business, in our view, however, has a fatal and untenable flaw.
My complaint is that he does not, will not, make and keep appointments. This is just not acceptable to us. We want the contractors who do work for us to give us a time frame in which we expect them to do the promised work; then we want them to keep their commitments. These people simply do not work that way; the burden is entirely on the client to be available to this contractor on the spur of the moment. Typically, he will say something like, "Are you going to be around on Thursday?' If the answer is yes, he will then say, "I'll give you a call on Thursday, then, and we'll set something up." He may do that; he may not do that. You just never know. It's just not a satisfactory way to do business, in our way of thinking. We regret losing them, but we are just not compatible.

I felt confident that he knew what he was doing and he was professional. The repair was a little more expensive than I thought it would be but it was a successful repair. Since he is a small business, he is sometimes not able to get back to you right away. I would recommend persistence when contacting him and pin down when he will come out.

He came to our house and asked us what the problem was. He took our information and diagnosed the problem. He blew out the clog and from the drain so it would work properly.

I had a broken washing machine. They were nice on the phone and came out to give me an estimate. The estimate was for 180.00 labor and 70.00 for the part.
I then found out that this part could be bought for 20.00 on amazon, and that it took less than 3 minutes to install it. I am sick of people trying to rip the average guy off. 180.00 for 3 minutes work is despicable in my opinion.

I called him Tuesday morning and he said he thought he could make it out the same day. We wait for two days for him to call to say he's on his way. I called him back Thursday and he says the same thing but we never hear from him. I call him back Friday afternoon. He finally shows up Friday night about 8:30pm and replaces the garbage disposal. He was unable to diagnose the fridge issue and left at 9:30pm. I didn't hear from him all week. I call him back Thursday to try to find out when he's coming to diagnose the fridge. He says he will come out Friday. No show again, so I call him. He says he will come out Saturday. No show again. I'm not calling him anymore and won't be using him again. Nothing is more frustrating than for someone to say they will be there today and they don't call or show, then it's days before they do and they don't finish the job.

We did not hear from him for 2-3 weeks. I tried calling and emailing. I did finally speak with him. I requested an update and he confirmed he would get one and then contact me, but I never heard from him. After two more weeks, I called again and I also informed him that my refrigerator was making additional noises. He said he would either be out that day or the day after to check it out. I never heard from him. Several days later I sent him emails to both of his emails expressing my disappointment. I have yet to hear back from him.

They were really quick and came right out, did the work and were gone. They did a good job; they were prompt, and fixed it. They were here for about thirty minutes and it was reasonable. They were very polite, very professional, were right here around time, did what they came to do and I was very satisfied with the work they did and they gave me refrigerator magnets.

At first, it seemed like it worked, and our freezer started cooling again, but then it started acting strangely again, basically cycling on and off. So we ended up buying a new fridge, since that one was about 15 years old and it wasn't worth investing money in fixing it.
It's great that Mr. Ramey was able to come out on the weekends, and he was very knowledgeable about his work. He gave us the cleaning option and said up front that it was a 50/50 shot that it would work, but he also noted some other problems, including freon leaking, so I'm not too surprised that the fridge ended up dying after all. I'm just pleased that he only charged us a reasonable fee so I didn't have to sink too much money into it.

Paul Ramey is very friendly and honest. He took his time to fix the problem and kept me informed of what exaclty was wrong what he will be doing to fix it. It was very late and he seem to have no problem with taking his time fixing and cleaning up behind himself. He also took the time to remove a balloon that had wrapped around my ceiling fan! LOL. I am in the midst of shopping around for quotes for house fixtures/jobs and he does some of the things I am looking to get done So I will definately use his services again because he seems honest and knows what he is doing.

Paul and Son arrived promptly got right to work. Advised of the three options of what could be wrong. After the first proved to be working, it was surmised to be the second. He had the part advised to the cost of the part less the discount applied for the visit. I agreed. His son who was knowledgeable replaced the part. Paul advised what I should do and should the issue happen he would return fix the stove once again less the amount already charged as the third option cost even more.
Upon his leaving, he advised of his skills set to which he pointed out several things...
I told him about my garage and after two minutes it was working again...NO CHARGE!!!

They told me whether or not it was worth fixing and it wasn't so I went and bought a new one. They were fine. They were on time. They were professional. Overall they were middle of the road.

I called Paul for help with my 5 year old GE refrigerator because the inside was no longer cooling my food. I called Paul at 10:30am and he was able to fit me into his schedule same day, arriving at 2pm. He is very professional, knowledgeable, and took time to troubleshoot the issue to determine exactly where the problem was. Even though my refrigerator's problem turned out to be a bit costly, Paul made absolutely sure it was necessary for the repair, and searched for any possible resolutions that would be less expensive. Paul and his son took their time to address my problem, and repaired the issue same day. We have since recommended Paul to friends and neighbors, and will certainly call him with any future repair needs.

Paul Ramey is very honest and friendly; once he is at your home, he will spend as much time as needed to get the job done. He really knows a lot about handiman things, so if you have questions about other items sucha s a sewing machine, he will answer those questions with helpful advise.
In the mornings he attends to customers that have refrigerator or freezer problems, first, because "they have the biggest emergencies with the most to lose". So if your appliance is not a refrigerator or freezer, he will likely schedule you for the afternoon. He sill give you a time range, rather than a precise tome to arrive, as his range of area that he covers in Atlanta is quite large. He traveled from Marietta to Ft. McPherson in South Atlant to repair my dryer, even though he had to spend a good 15-20 minutes getting through Ft. McPherson security before being allowed on post.

I called Paul on a Monday evening and he said he'd put me on his daily schedule for the next day - technically he showed up less that 24 hours after I called him. He was extremely friendly and determined the problem (a broken lid switch) in a minute or two tops. He knew how to bypass the switch to save me an extra $80 or so and even confirmed that there were no kids around and that I was not going to be sticking my hands in it while it was running. Although unnecessary, he also made sure to explain that turning the machine off manually accomplished the same thing. About 10-15 minutes later he was finished and out the door. 5 minutes after he left, I had a fully functioning washing machine running a load of clothes.

I called for service on the day after Christmas, and Mr. Ramey came out the next day, which was a Saturday. He arrived as planned, worked quickly, and did a thorough and competent job. He explained that he can repair anything, from appliances to electronics and that he is also a good handyman. He is a young man with 5 children who works very hard at several jobs.
