Nick and his entire team, from Amy to the 4 professional crew members, all did an excellent job of listening, explaining, promptly responding with estimate, and doing an extremely thorough and professional job of repairing our front porch (brick) and repairing and resizing and re-seating the capstones on our two stacked stone walls out back. I would most definitely hire this company again to do masonry work.

I engaged Nelson Masonry to repair a stone wall that was damaged during the process of moving into our new home. I got a quick response on my request and a quote that I could use with my homeowners insurance. The estimate from the insurance company was right in line with the quote from Nelson Masonry, so I didn't have to haggle with anyone. The crew booked us and got the work done quickly. They kept the worksite clean and had all of their equipment out the day after the job was completed. I will definitely plan to use them for future projects.

Kim and his son and crew were amazing! We had a real issue with water coming in from holes in the brick from shutters and further facilitated by improper flashing from new roof we had installed 4 years ago. Everyone wanted to tear down all the brick and start over. Nelson's said no this can be fixed and fixed well and here is what to do to avoid issues in the future. They were quick to respond given I was looking at the brick from the inside of my house. I'm grateful to them and highly recommend!!

We needed a brick mason for a smaller project. Itâ s difficult to get most masonry companies to even call you back. Nelson Masonry had a great Google rating and now I can understand why. They called me back quickly and stopped by quickly to provide a quote. Pricing was reasonable and the project got completed quickly once we approved the proposal. Nelson Masonry did a fantastic job replacing the surface of three landings and steps leading to two of those landings. The materials we ended up selecting was a bit more on price than we originally intended, but the result is one that is spectacular and should never need to be redone no matter how long we own this house. Kim and Nick originally suggested a less expensive stone, but when we explained what we really wanted as the end result, had a few more options for us to consider. They were patient through it all, and then really performed above expectations. When we have another project to do, we will definitely be calling them again.

Kim Nelson of Nelson Masonry took on a difficult job that others were afraid to tackle and did an outstanding job. My renovated front entry required that the tile be stained and sealed. Unfortunately, my builders finished the stone on the landing in one color, and the landscape architects finished the walkway in a lighter color. I went to several stone and masonry companies and no one wanted to deal with the problem of trying to redo the walkway. I am, like most people, emotionally and financially invested in my home, so after being told by several companies that they would not guarantee that they could get a good result, I worried about anyone trying to redo this job. I then spoke to Kim Nelson who was very honest about the problems of trying to redo someone elseâ s work but agreed to experiment with a small corner of the walkway to see if the change was feasible. After testing the stone to see if he could get a good result, he redid the lighter part of the walkway and the results were beautiful. I recommend Kim Nelson for his professional knowledge, his honesty, and his ability to interact with clients. If Kim is busy when you call, he is well worth waiting for.

Nelson Masonry did a great job on a patio and wall that was in pretty awful shape. Nelson did a very good job with a very poor situation. The alternative would have been to tear down the whole thing and rebuild, which would have cost more than we could afford. Communication with them was very good, they were on time, and they were very professional. They also walked me through what was going on. And they were within our price range. I'd use them again.

I highly recommend Nelson Masonry-they are true professionals! The top portion of my chimney was hit by a tree and the old brickwork had to be removed and rebuilt from the roof deck up. The quality of the new brickwork is excellent and I was astounded that it was completed in one morning. They are experts at what they do! We had cracks in our Stone Siding above a Bay Window allowing water to get in ..... These guys were FANTASTIC..... Always on Time , Excellent communications about what was needed to prevent future leaks and explained fully what was needed to fix our problem ... They Did an EXCELLENT Job ...These guys were a pleasure to work with ..... I'd Highly recommend these guys & The Stone work is Excellent !!!

Kim Nelson and his crew did a wonderful job of repairing a marble sculpture fountain which was a difficult and delicate task. He does great work. I will hire him for any future fountain repair and maintenance.

Kim at Nelson Masonry was incredibly responsive from the first time he came out to assess the situation (we had a leaky front porch that was "repaired" five years ago by what turned out to be an incompetent provider) through his laying out of the plans to the actual demolition and reconstruction of the front porch. He assured us his crew would take care of the problem and that we would be all set to weather (ha ha) the future. When they removed the top bricks and saw what had been put underneath, they reassessed. Ultimately, they put in a layer of concrete to create a positive slope away from the house, sealed it with liquid rubber, and then installed the bricks and mortar. Finished look was clean, and now the water should stay on top and run away from the house. Kim responded to email and texts with lightening speed. When I asked if they could look at another small crack in mortar on a different part of the house he had his guys match the grout and do a "tuck point" fix. In short, highly recommend this company. Their number one goal seemed to be to take care of us and leave us with a porch that would not cause us any more problems.

Who would think finding a reliable stone mason would be so hard! I had two vagabonds swing by and said they would be in touch. Never heard from them again. I called Nelson Masonry and Amy answered the phone and then Nick showed up on our scheduled day! Quote was in hand that day and the work was performed to a high standard. All in all a great experience and I highly recommend Kim and Nelson Masonry.

Nelson Masonry repaired the entry steps to our townhome. This project involved replacing the brick siding of the steps which had pulled away from the steps and resecuring the steps to the exterior wall. The project was completed to high professional standards and exceeded our expectation. I would recommend Nelson Masonry to anyone who has a complex or difficult project. They are pros who will deliver the completed project on budget and on schedule.

Our large brick patio, walkways and stairs had suffered wear for 40 years, 20 years before and after we bought our house, mortar showing gapping voids and splotches from prior poor patches. Within 3 days Nelson truly transformed our brickwork from a liability to a true asset. The mason who did our work had 28 years experience, matched mortar colors and blended all the repair to match the original mortar. A 5 star job.
