MOORE AND MOORE PLUMBING

Would never recommend this company to anyone.  They installed a hot water heater in my home and left me with a gas leak.  Five days later another company was in my home doing regular heating and air service and noticed the gas leak (I had been getting headaches as well and noticed some kind of odor).  Since they were at my home I paid that company $59 to turn off the gas and find where the leak was.  I informed Mike Moore plumbing on this, they refused to give me my $59 back and I received no apology on the fact I was left with a gas leak.  Mike Moore sent two people out to fix the leak on 3/17 and told me it was fixed.

On 4/16 I had Georgia Natural Gas come out to my home just to make sure the gas leak was indeed taken care of.  They informed me and showed me where the hot water heater was still leaking gas in two spots.

I emailed Mike Moore and even after this not one apology on putting my family in potential danger and not one offer to still even pay the $59 that I had to pay for the company who discovered the gas leak the first time.  I am appauled at how this company and the founder handles their business dealings.

She drove from Marietta all the way to Blue Ridge on a Sunday afternoon after church and repaired that pipe for me so that we would have water. She did not actually charge me because I had a pipe leak in my condo and I don't really have money to pay at that moment but I have spare laptop that her daughter could use for school, so I traded her that laptop that I didn't need and she is good. The quality of her work has been great, the work that she did at my condo has been good and everything is still holding just fine. She knows her stuff and if she sends somebody on her staff, they know their stuff too. She came to see what needed to be done in my condo but had to get an approval from the condo complex to shut off the water and she made the repair. She was very professional. I trust her to fix it and if she can;t fix it, I trust her to point me in the right direction.

They are not too far from me. They had to get some different equipment to come to my house, so they were not particularly punctual, but they did a good job though. We have not had a problem with the drain. The price was really expensive but that was expected - I knew it was going to be really high. They probably deserve to be paid high because I sure would not know how to do what they can do. I probably would not use them in the future.

PROFESSIONAL, HONEST, ON TIME, FRIENDLY, AND INFORMATIVE. HAD A SEPARATE LEAK AND MINOR REPAIR, NO CHARGE.

THE PLUMBER, GARY CONVERSE, WAS VERY EFFICIENT AND CONSIDERATE. GETTING TO THE PUMP IS DIFFICULT, BUT HE HAD NO COMPLAINT ABOUT THAT. HE EXPLAINED VERY CLEARLY WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS, AND SHOWED ME WHAT CAUSED IT, GAVE ADVICE FOR THE FUTURE. I HAVE SINCE HAD TO CALL THE COMPANY AGAIN FOR THE SAME REASON, BUT IT WASN'T THE SAME CAUSE AND THE CHARGE WAS ONLY $35 FOR A SERVICE CALL.

I CONTACTED THE COMPANY ON TUESDAY, AND HAD AN APPOINTMENT FIRST THING ON WEDNESDAY MORNING FOR THE PLUMBER. SCOTT SHOWED UP, AS SCHEDULED, AND HAD THE REPAIR DONE IN A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME, EXPLAINING WHY I WAS HAVING THE PROBLEM AND WHAT HE DID TO FIX. AS I HAD HARDWOOD FLOORS HE WAS CONCERNED ABOUT TRACKING IN DIRT THAT WOULD SCRATCH AND TOOK HIS SHOES OFF BEFORE CROSSING THE FLOORS. THIS DEMONSTRATED TO ME THAT SCOTT AND THE COMPANY ARE VERY CONCERNED WITH THEIR CLIENTS' PROPERTY AND WILL TAKE CARE OF THINGS AS IF THEIR OWN. IT IS GREAT TO FIND A SERVICE COMPANY THAT I CAN PLAN TO USE AGAIN AND REFER TO OTHER PEOPLE.

EXCELLENT SERVICE. GOOD RESPONSE TIME. VERY PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS. ONLY CRITICISM: A LITTLE PRICEY FOR THE JOB DONE.

GOT THIS NAME FROM ANGIE'S LIST AND WAS VERY PLEASED. GARY ARRIVED WITHIN WINDOW OF TIME AND EVEN CALLED AHEAD TO LET ME KNOW HE WAS ON HIS WAY. FIXED PROBLEMS QUICKLY AND POINTED OUT SOME POTENTIAL PROBLEMS THAT MIGHT OCCUR IN THE FUTURE. ADVISED WAITING THOUGH AND DIDN'T PUSH TO REPAIR NOW. PROMPT, PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS. THEY GUARANTEE THEIR WORK FOR A YEAR.

THIS COMPANY WAS REALLY RESPONSIVE! I USED THEM TO DO SOME EMERGENCY PLUMBING ON A RENTAL HOUSE THAT HAD A GAS LEAK. THEY WERE ON-SITE WITHIN 3 HOURS AND REPAIRED THE PROBLEM QUICKLY. THEY CALLED ME FROM THE SITE (I WASN'T ABLE TO MEET THEM THERE) AND DISCUSSED THE SITUATION AND PRICE. I GIVE THEM EXCELLENT RATINGS FOR ALL CATEGORIES!

GREG ARRIVED AS SCHEDULED. HE COMMUNICATED MY ESTIMATE IN A TIMELY MANNER. THE WORK APPEARS TO BE DONE PROFESSIONALLY.

BRAD SHAW WAS A SUB USED BY MOORE & MOORE FOR RE-PLUMBING THE HOUSE WITH COPPER PIPE. BRAD IS KNOWLEDGEABLE, TRUSTWORTHY AND THOROUGH. HE COMPLETED THE JOB ON SCHEDULE & AS PROPOSED. IT WAS NICE TO HAVE A LARGE PROJECT GO SMOOTHLY FOR ONCE.

CHUCK WAS ON TIME, HE CALLED WHEN HE WAS ON HIS WAY, HE WAS VERY POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL.
