Let me start by saying that Terry, electrician, did an excellent job on my recessed lighting install. If I were simply reviewing Terry’s work, I would provide a 5 star review. When my expectation differed from the reality, Terry offered advice based on professional experience. Further, when challenges arose, Terry consulted me at every step of the way, worked neatly and quickly, and left my home in great condition. But truth in disclosure requires that I share more. It took several attempts in order to get someone from Majestic out to my home. After taking a day off from work to meet with their technician that never showed up, and then a second technician failed to show on the same day. Ashley at the home office tried to make things right by apologizing profusely. Unfortunately as this cost me money, I shouldn’t have had to be the one to bring up a customer discount. The $615 Angie’s List deal that led to my calling Majestic was not honored either. I was advised that it required existing overhead lighting in the same room, and I was told I did not have it. I had a wired overhead chandelier in the same room. If your time, money and energy are valuable, consider my experience as well as the outcome prior to scheduling.

We definitely don't want you to feel that your time is not valued, because it is, or that your coupon was not honored, which it was. There were scheduling issues due to a technician being out sick and we did keep you updated throughout the day as we attempted to work another technician to your home, although all our other technicians had full schedules. Admittingly, we were unable to move any other scheduled client appointments. However, we did take into consideration your time and inconvenience, which is why we scheduled a Saturday appointment for you with a 10% discount. We had to ask Terry to come in on his day off to accommodate. In regards to the coupon, the technician explained that while it appears that you have an existing light fixture in the room, because of your open floor plan and placement of your existing chandelier, it is not usable for the can light because the one switch would have controlled both chandelier and can lights at the same time. We would have had to remove the chandelier in order to use the existing switch leg you are referring to and the switch was in the dining room area. He also showed you that the rafters in the ceiling run at right angle to the circuit path needed and he had to cut through the sheetrock in order to run the new wiring. Unfortunately, those items do fall outside of the specifications of the coupon. We actually charged you the coupon rate for the light installs, but had to add charges for the additional work needed to install the fixtures. I hope this assuages your concerns so that you would consider giving us another opportunity to earn your business. Thank you for choosing Majestic."

I used Majestic for a water heater replacement project for my new condo on a recommendation from a coworker. From the start, this business was very straightforward with scheduling, and the plumber that came out for the free estimate was friendly, professional, and very forthcoming with details of what it would take to replace my heater. After getting a couple of other quotes from other plumbing operations, I decided to go with Majestic as I felt that they would do the job the best based on how transparent they were during the quote and the fact that they followed up with me to see if I had any questions. The new water heater was installed on time and on budget in-line with the estimate provided, and the plumbing team was very thorough with installing all required copper piping and an expansion tank as well. They also cleaned up after themselves which I appreciated in a new condo. I would use Majestic again for plumbing services as I am very pleased with their thorough job on the water heater.

They were great. I found them with an A rating on Angies list and called to see if they would come to give me a quote to re-install the venting that a previous company put in wrong. They came the next day to give me a quote. Their technician, Cole Cribbs, was punctual, professional and gave me a very fair price to do all of the work AND said he could go ahead and do the job on the spot! He completely reinstalled properly the venting and also installed a sediment trap that the contractor who installed the water heater left off entirely!

In a Saturday afternoon around 3PM, our hot water heater burst. So I made a call to Majestic Plumbing. hoping we could get someone out within 24 hours. The lady dispatcher said they could get someone out that evening, this is a Hot, Saturday evening in Atlanta. Sure enough, John and Cole arrived at 7PM. They had to cut off the gas supply to the house as this was a gas hot water heater. They had to construct some additional water line modifications and installed a pressure value regulator. It took 3 -3 1/2 hours but they came to our rescue. The guys were knowledgeable and courteous. I am impressed with this company and their employees and you will be too!

I hired Majestic to replace a drainpipe and pivot rod assembly for a bathroom sink that was leaking badly. Their plumber arrived on time and got right to work. He replaced the drain section within an hour. It looked good, but after he left I noticed a slow drip coming from the drain pipe and moisture farther down the pipe. I called them back and a couple of days later they sent a different plumber. He quickly fixed the issue to my satisfaction, at no additional cost. Overall I am pleased with the result. The cost was in line with what I would pay any other good plumber in my area.

It was a great experience, installer and his assistant were on time, friendly, knowledgeable. Majestic kept me informed and followed up with a call to make sure I was satisfied. The only issue I have is that I never got a written receipt for the work done. He said it would come in the mail but I never got it. I know I should call, that is on me but really I should not have to; it should have been given to me by the technician upon completion of the job.

This was a big deal purchase. It turned out to be exactly what it was in the beginning: a solicitation for future work. That's what all those things are. They came out and did what they said they were going to do. They spent most of this time telling me that they would install a new faucet for me for $350 and other things like that to entice me to buy more stuff. I understand when you get a special price on stuff like that they are going to come and try to up sell you into something else. They came when they said they were going to come.

Scheduling was very easy and the office staff was terrific. Electrician arrived early and set out to see what was to be done. Quoted price for additional light fixture while adding multiple warnings about the light fixture I chose (this is a standard light fixture available at any large hardware store). He chose to install this additional light fixture outside the deal first- this should have been done last.. Then got to work on my “deal” light fixtures and was quickly overcome by a fairly common scenario. He was very professional but in my opinion, not experienced enough to troubleshoot a slightly irregular situation. He quickly ran out of ideas to overcome common problems that nearly any handyman with basic experience has faced and was unable to hang my fixture, meanwhile he threw away the hardware needed for the next guy to hang it and removed the old light, leaving us in the dark. So, instead of hanging the 2 light fixtures I wanted hung, I had a room with NO light whatsoever and the joy of finding a more experienced electrician to do the job, which I did. Every professional has to start new sometime, in my opinion, the one that was sent to my house just wasn’t experienced enough for anything beyond what he learned in training. In all likelihood, if you have something very straightforward, he could probably do an outstanding job. This company seems to be a solid company, but you may consider the complexity of your job and request an experienced electrician to match your needs.

Jessie and his assistant showed up on time and worked all day to replace all the lights and ceiling fans I bought. They were very efficient and worked quickly even though I have rooms with 14 and 20 foot ceilings requiring a 14 foot ladder to reach ceilings. Jessie is obviously knowledgeable and took the time to explain differences in LED lights that I wish I knew before I bought the lights. Jessie even suggested I add a surge protector to the house while he was here and he installed a much needed outlet in my basement for usage of my dehumidifier. The guys were great and did a terrific job and I couldn't be happier about how great the new lights and ceiling fans look.

Emergency day for the main restroom WC and the laundry water intake pipe - and on a Saturday with a full house of water needs!! The operators, supervisor and on-site technician were prompt, extremely professional and well-priced!! I got a call back from the supervisor within 5 minutes of my initial call and the technician, André, was on-site in 45 minutes. I called Majestic after waiting with no call-back from a different company and so it was a time of critical mass when Majestic arrived. He saved the day for our household and it was well worth the cost for their expert intervention. I will not hesitate to make them my first and only call for plumbing services again!

Purchased a deal through Angie's List to install four canned lights. Technician came out the day we agreed to install. There were initially some issues surrounding what type of installation the coupon included and whether what he needed to do was covered in the deal, but a quick call from his to his boss and he was on the job. The project was quick and seamless, the light install fantastic. We were very happy with the work as well as the explanations and courtesy of the tech. Would definitely use them again!

Fantastic!! Although I was scheduled for 1 week in advanced, they had an opening and technician came out and replaced my ceiling fan and outer light fixture. The tech also realized my outlet was not to code and had the parts to replace that as well. I will definitely call them again for any additional services in the near future.

It did not go well. They scheduled a time window and missed it by over an hour (and only came out once I called them). The immediately began 'trashing' the state of one of my toilets - only to find out that their company is who repaired it several months ago. Gave me VERY different advice from their plumber who was at my house previously on another repair - much more expensive and scary-tactic advice. They've lost my trust: either their previous plumbers did poor work at my house or their current plumber is trying to drive up the cost of repairs.

Woke up on Saturday morning with no hot water. Incredibly fast response. Same day replacement. We were without hot water for no more than 8 hours. Highly recommend!

Of the 2 other places I called first that also said 24/7, Majestic was truly the only one that actually was. They answered the phone promptly and dispatched someone quickly. Chris French showed up. He’s awesome.. he’s an expert and assessed the problem quickly. He explained the work that was required and wrote up a quote quickly. He also sat down and showed me different options. Chris and Travis showed up promptly the next morning and ended up fixing problems I didn’t know I had. I love my new water heater because my shower was amazing for the first time in forever. They fixed my problem at a good price. they found a part another big company said they couldn't find. It was half the price another company quoted. The other company said they would have to tear out the wall and do extensive work because the part they needed to keep the system was no longer available. I called at 4:00 PM one day and they were there before noon the next day. He cleaned up the mess made by the previous plumber leaving everything clean. The job was done quickly. The plumber was professional and efficient. I was very happy.
