 + -1 moreGreat job on weed control and fertilization. The zoysia grass had mixed results - came in very thick in some areas, less so in others. The company offered to do another seeding, but I decided to patch in some sod where needed.
Description of Work: Lawn fertilization and weed control. Asked the company to try to seed the lawn with zoysia grass, even though that was not a normal part of their services.

 + -1 moreGreat! My neighbor's Zoysia lawn is full of weeds while mine is beautiful. When they were using a liquid Fall treatment ( they have since switched to a granular ) Mitch would always call me to see if my leaves had been raked. He would work with my schedule. When I was having problems with my lawn they had an expert come out. They do everything possible to make you and your lawn feel valued.
Description of Work: I have beautiful Zoysia lawns at both my home and my rental property, which is on the same street. They have done the chemical services on both lawns for years. Mine from the time I bought the house and the rental from the time I had sod professionally installed.

 + -1 moreThey are fantastic. I'm not thrilled. I had them aerate last year and we were having some drought issues to be frank. I was watering like crazy. My husband asked me where the elephant was that we were washing because of the water bill. I really felt that he could have done a slightly better job with that. I felt like he could have come back out and maybe aerated again. I specifically said, "Please, do not throw the grass seed into the beds." There was some grass growing there. Of course it would grow there, but it won't grow other places. It will grow where you don't want it. That was my main thing. I did not do that this year. I probably should have.
Description of Work: I'm assuming they sprayed for weeds, obviously. He comes out once a quarter. From time to time, he does the crab grass and weed treatments.

 + -1 moreThey are fine and I use them now. They are here about every couple of months. I watch them on occasion do their job and they seem to do a professional job. I haven't had any complaints. They come every 2 months and I don't have to call them. I don't have to be here when they come and most of the time I am not.
Description of Work: I use them for fertilizing my yard.

 + -1 moreThe story is above. Very poor experience.
Description of Work: Last October, this company dug up our yard and completely reseeded it. Within a couple of months the yard looked very nice. We paid $750 for the reseeding and continued to pay them monthly for their services. By Spring the grass looked great but in a very short time small brown patches began to appear. They came out and put more treatment but said it was fungus. We spent a lot of money watering during this time to try to save our costly lawn. Our entire back yard is brown dead grass basically and the front is headed that way. They also blamed us and said it was heat damage. If that were true every home in our neighborhood would look horrible like our does. Not to mention that we had spent a lot of time and money watering. Our lawn is the WORST looking of any around here and we are out a lot of money. They were rude when we complained and offered nothing but more of their lousy service which of course we would have to pay for. We were told by another lawn care expert that our entire yard is dead from fungus. It would look better if we had done nothing to it and saved our $1500.
