Bubbling paint.PEEL.B/C of issues I am fixing,I know bad prep.No 2 coats.No oil.I put down plastic.I called office.I offered they leave wi/my deposit.Doug very convincing.1st dy.2 men.Refused 2 lay plastic, properly.I DID+cardboard.I moved everything.Crew should.Pt/dust evrywhre.UnmountedTV.Did not put bk.Brk doors.Gobs in plces Shop vac2 breatheDaily sent txt, photos & video. Jose came to provide quote and was timely & professional. He provided a quote in writing while on site. It was easy to schedule a start date. Pressure washing was timely. The problems started when the painters were to arrive. Day 1 no one came or called. Day 2 I was told there would be a crew of 4 with lead proficient in English. One painter showed that struggled with English. Once i brought this to their attention, a 2nd painter was sent plus a helper. Was told that the same 3 people would come Day 3. Day 3, had one painter & one helper. Was told 3 different stories as to why 2nd painter did not come. Day 4 was to have 2 painters to finish the job. One person came. Was told one person could finish the job in half day. I pushed back to get 2 painters. It took 2 painters 8.5 hours to finish the job. The quality of the painting was very good! While the quality of painters was very good, I would not use this company again because of the inconsistent messages and associated frustrations. Customer service is completely lacking. They could have a phenomenal business with consistent, reliable and proactive communication.

Terrible. They did the work in June 2019, and now in Nov 2019, the deck is still tacky. It was windy when they were doing the job, so much so, that they used/sprayed 5 more gallons than originally planned!! They did not complete the retaining wall on the inside, which you can see from the road. Numerous attempts were made to get someone out here to finish and touch up, but no one ever showed up each time. One excuse after another. They started to spray the retaining wall beside the driveway with the cars in it! I called and complained numberous times to a woman that kept lying to me telling me someone was coming out, but they never did. Finally, after much complaining, Doug the salesperson, showed up with a brush, still in new package, and I sent him away. They not only did a sloppy job, stain dripped everywhere, and application not even, but they ruined our screens on the screen porch. They are wrinkled now and some of the screws to hold in the screens are missing. I called the owner, Jose, to speak with him, but once I started complaining, he said he couldn't understand me any longer and hung up. While the workers were here, there was a huge language barrier. I couldn't communicate with them without Doug, and Doug didn't show up everyday. I will NOT use this company again. Stay away. Terribly unprofessional. I HATE the job they did for us.

They cleaned very good afterwards. Well some of them were hard to talk to because they were [03:28] most of the time it depended on whether or not the supervisor was with them and I was able to do some sign language, so I would say talking to them was difficult.

I apologize for this belated review but I wanted customers and this company especially to know what I discovered about the painting way later.

I guess I was just too tired to notice the way-too-many places that paint was spattered and dropped in so any places  too numerous to list here.  Also, there was a big spot on an expensive leather chair.  I am afraid to even attempt its removal. 

Another problem was the cost.  My laxness, I'm sorry to say, enters into what happened.  I accepted the estimate, but never realized that it was just too much since I did  not ask for the trim to be painted. Trim included all baseboards, door frames, doors,

Then, the one who had dealt with the estimate(not the painters) informed me that he had this huge can of paint left over.  I feel that if his estimate skills were that bad, the company wouldn't have hired him.  He told me that I could have the leftover paint knowing full well that I had no place to keep it and no use for it.. My sneaking suspicion is the paint was probably used on another job.

I certainly realize I should have waited to write the first review. I hope I've learned my lesson

My advice for anyone dealing with JP Painting and Remodeling is to carefully inspect the work. 

It went fine.  They were professionals and moved everything.  They patched anything that needed to be patched.  The painting job was...I won't say perfect but it was close to it.  They were fast and didn't try to up charge me or anything.

Prior name is Jose Painting. Late for work. Quality subpar. Extremely sloppy, paint droppings, and unable to communicate. Painters English poor, argumentative and unwilling to listen to customer, and refused to address requests to perform quality services. Will never use again. Unprofessional operation. Quality control and internal communication extremely poor.

They did pretty well and I highly recommend this company.

It wasn't a great experience. I had them try multiple times to get the colors correct. They painted the outside of my house the wrong color and had to come back to redo it. I would not recommend them. I gave them a nice long list of things I wanted addressed, for my inspectors where showing lots of molding and things that needed to be repaired or replaced. He quoted me to replace with non wood material and it took three tries to actually get them to actually replace the materials rather than just throwing a coat of paint over it. I had to have them back several times to correct what they weren't doing so their attention to detail was not great. At the end of the day, he did finally make it right so I had to give him a "C". He has finally made it right but it took quite a bit of trying and me having to keep on them basically project managing their teams. It was a bit tough working with Jose. I worked directly with Mr. Jose and he has a very nice fellow and he had great intentions. It is just they did not follow through well and pay attention to the list that we had agreed upon. Just getting him to get it done took several tries and he find finally make it right but it just was a good trying experience. After all he did eventually come through. I think that I why I went with him because the price was reasonable. It was not the lowest price or quote I got but he seemed to be the one that is upfront and had the most plan to take of care everything I wanted him to do.The price was pretty good. The quality of the work at the end of the day the painting looks good unfortunately I had to have them back several times to correct their mistakes. Every time I called Mr. Jose he came right out to address the situation. At least when I called him he responded and got back to me really quick. Responsiveness he was good on. He was good at calling me back. He gave me his cellphone number and told me to just call him directly and I did. Sometimes I would leave him a voice mail but he would call me back shortly thereafter because he has got clients and I understand that. He would return my calls pretty quick. Punctuality was fine. They showed up when they said and they showed up the days they said. In person he was very good and professional but the fact that he did not convey the list of things to his team that where here to do the work and it took three different crews to finally get it right that part I would have to say wasn't the best.

I have used this company in the past and was happy until they sent this last crew. I dont think they used soap as their primary step. The porch floor was still dirty as were many of the posts. Pollen was still stuck to the shutters. The front steps were not much better than before they got here. To prove how ineffective they were a mop and bucket with soapy water fixed the porch floor and steps! To make matters worse they scratched the porch floor dragging furniture -it was just painted last year! I emailed a complaint and they did not respond...

I schedule the painting service for a Saturday 2 weeks in-advance. I got a call Friday evening @ 4:30 from Doug stating they did not have a crew to do the painting. Really, the day b4. Remember, I schedule this 2 weeks out.
When the painting crew showed up on Saturday morning, they prepped(i.e. tape up the kitchen with plastic) my kitchen which was not going to be painted. Come on!!! When I saw that, I thought they did not communicate all of the information with the crew.
When the the painting had been completed, I found paint splatter on my hardwood floors and curtains. Subsequently, I had to get them back out to cleanup my hardwoods. Also,they had to cleanup paint on walls that had not been painted by them. When I schedule them to come out on another Saturday to cleanup, why where they late. They where scheduled to come out at 9:00am but did not arrive till 1:00pm. There office stated that this crew was at home depot getting supplies. What a lie. Come on Really!!!
Also, they purchased more paint than what was needed. A full 5 gallon bucket that was never opened.
JP was a major disappointment since they came highly recommended. I was planning on having them to do more work but after this disappointment, I had to decline anymore work from them.

This has to one of the most pleasant experiences I've had. The crew was nice, polite, and professional.

The painting they did was not just excellent, it was outstanding.

I would recommend Jose's to the most discerning of my friends.

Overall the job went smoothly. The work was done in a timely fashion and professionally.

We had used this company twice in the past when it was Jose's Painting.

However, as JP's Remodeling, the work has not been as good as when it was owned by Jose's Painting.

The last time I called for an estimate for work on a garage floor (400 sf) the estimate was very high and we chose not to use them.

We probably won't use them again.

The crew showed up at the exact. Promised start time. They worked diligently until the job was complete. They did the job in half the time I expected. The quality of the work was excellent and the crew was very courteous. I will definitely use this company for future projects.

JP Painting did an excellent job, at a great price, and completed the job per the agreed to timeframe. They were on time every day (it took 4 days). When we purchased our loft, the ceilings throughout were a flat black, and the walls in various rooms a myriad of colours. We changed the ceiling to white throughout, and stuck to white and neutral colours on the walls. We followed their recommendations at the onset - and were very glad we did - e.g., use the best paint, and don't forget the small details like baseboards, trim, closets, etc. The painters were all very professional and courteous and tidy. We had a few walk-throughs on the progress during the project and at the conclusion - and any concerns we expressed were immediately addressed. While the unit was empty when we had it painted, there were lots of challenges - high ceilings and walls, lots of hardware to be removed and re-installed, exposed ductwork, etc. The final product was absolutely perfect - we are extremely pleased with JP Painting and have recommended them to many of our friends and colleagues. First class company and painters - all the way!

I purchased a new home and the master bedroom was painted in an unappealing color. I was referred to Jose's Painting by a realtor. I received outstanding customer service from Jose's from my first call to finished product. I called other painters to get estimates and only Jose's would do a job in the Lithia Springs area. I have a huge master bedroom and the painters were able to get the job done quickly and left no mess. The price was good and they were truly professional. I plan on using them in the future for exterior painting as well.

I think that everything went well, except the wrong paint was used. Overall the service was pretty good, but some of the small things went awry.

The work on the bathroom was top notch. I felt the deck work left a bit to be desired. Screws were not placed uniformly, and we missing in some spots so I had to add them. I would not hire them again for deck work, but again, the bathroom remodeling was great.

They were on time and friendly. They did a great job and I was pleased.

As I said above, they did a good job. They were prompt and I couldn't have asked for more.

Overall great service and like them so much I called them a second time, speaks for itself.

I find that the tech that comes is excellent. He is conscientious, respectful of my property, and does a good job. The price and quality are excellent. I like the guy who does the work, so he gets A's across the board. I would use them again just for pressure washing.
