Holmes Painting

It went very well. Kim Holmes is a one man operation. He did every thing himself. He is very capable and hard working. The carpentry was very nicely done. The painting was probably the best job I have ever had done to the house I have owned for more than 20 years. We all know the devil is in the details, when pressure washing my house, Kim pressure washed my mailbox post. Not a big deal but he noticed it needed done and took it upon himself to do it. It is this attention to detail that impresses me.

I would recommend them. The price is competitive. They cleaned up when they're done. They did professional job. The supervisor came out after the work was done to be sure I was satisfied with it. He did resolve issues that I had and did a good job at a reasonable price.

After having our home inspected in preparation for putting it on the market, we knew that we needed to replace a good bit of moisture and carpenter bee damaged wood before it was painted. We called several painters for estimates and provided them with a detailed list of items to be repaired. The other painters offered low estimates and claimed they had crews that would finish the job in less than two days. We didn't want fast. We wanted the job done right. The last painters we hired were fast and did a lousy job. Holmes Painting came in a little higher than the others, but we got quality work. His estimate was detailed and professional. With his attention to prep work and repairs, he proved himself to be a skilled carpenter as well as an excellent painter. He cleaned up the site each day and took care to cover areas to prevent damage from the spray. He even took my indecision about paint colors in stride and helped us choose paint that greatly increased our home's curb appeal. As he was leaving after a job well done, he provided us with a warranty on his work and an offer for a reduced price to pressure wash our house in two years to maintain the beautiful finish. Kim Holmes truly did live up to his good name and reputation. I would highly recommend him to family and friends.
