Alex was punctual to the home inspection. He did homework up front to have a good idea what to expect. He able and willing to talk through all of the items he was evaluating in the home which was very helpful to me as a first time home buyer. No stone was left unturned, which was especially helpful in a property that was recently renovated. Alex's expertise and insight were essential to the decision making process in terms of evaluating risk. The small defects were rated as small and cosmetic/easily corrected, and the larger items were discussed at length. Ultimately, my wife and I decided not to purchase the home based on the items discovered during the inspection. I would use Alex again for future home inspections. He takes his time and is passionate about his work.

Alex completed an extremely thorough home inspection for us, including Radon inspection. He encouraged us to be with him during the inspection so he could point out and explain each issue in person. This was highly valuable to us and far more helpful than our last home inspection. The written report was very detailed and helpful in negotiating repairs for the home with the seller. We could not be happier with Alex and would recommend him to anyone.

Alex was AMAZING! When I called Alex for a home inspection, I had very little time to schedule the meeting. Alex was great at getting me on to his schedule in the timeframe required. He only performs ONE home inspection per day, which allows him to focus on only your property. Alex spent over 5 hours crawling around my 3800 square foot property, inside and out, providing detailed explanations of all the issues he found. Alex explained the issues to me in plain English so it was easy for me to understand exactly what the issue was and what needed to be done to fix it. Following the inspection, Alex provided an extremely detailed report with color pictures and detailed explanations of every issue. If we ever end up buying or selling a property, I will most certainly call Alex for his services again. Alex has been the best home inspector we've had to date. Thank you for everything, Alex!!!

Alex performed our second home inspection in as many years for us this past January. He is a professional, gracious and very, very smart. He always kept us in the loop on his arrival time and spent a great deal of time just "with us" answering our questions about the house, not necessarily related to the report. He showed us things in our home that we might want to do for energy efficiency purposes as well as just care and maintenance. Because of his reports, we have saved thousands of dollars in out-of-pocket repairs. His reports provide code references that back up every recommendation or to-do for a seller or a builder that cannot be argued. He is wonderful, personable and professional - I would hire him again in a moment.

Alex did a great job, best job I've ever seen an inspector do. Three leaks he identified, the Seller gave us credits to fix. A rusted out breaker box and utility meter not securely fastened to the wall that he identified are being repaired. A slanted floor he noticed and found the reason causing it. For other problems, his Report and pictures provided proof of needed repairs that were in negotiation. He spent at least 3 hours doing the inspection. I tipped him $20 which he tried to refuse.

Alex (Hi-Tech) was amazing; he did a ridiculously thorough job exploring every nook and cranny of our new house. Best inspection I've had (and I've bought numerous places). He gave an inspection report with almost 100 pictures and very thorough analysis. The inspection report not only helped with negotiation but provided a good checklist of things to fix for after closing. I recommend without hesitation. - Chris

Alex was great! My wife and I were buying our first home and used his services for an inspection. His one house per day policy was very nice; he was able to take his time searching through the home to make sure he left no stone unturned. Even our realtor was impressed by how thorough he was. He was a little more expensive than other inspectors, but it was absolutey worth it to have a thorough inspection on one of the largest investments I'll probably make. I would also recommend being with him during the inspection; he has a wealth of knowledge, and I now feel like I know every inch of the house having spent the day with him during the inspection. Alex is the utmost professional. He only inspects one house each day so you have his full time and attention. He was very responsive to initial contact and all follow up calls/texts. Scheduling was a breeze. His inspection was very thorough. Alex did a great job of explaining everything to my spouse as the inspection proceeded and again to me (patiently and in plain English!) over the phone. We had a full report in under 48 hours. Alex also helped us talk through pros/cons of potential fixes for various issues that arose during the inspection, including radon test results. He is very knowledgeable and is someone I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to family and friends.

Alex is great - he is a little more expensive but literally spends all day examining every inch of the house and was very patient in explaining all of his findings with me. He makes great suggestions on easy fixes/preventative measures and provides a very thorough report which worked perfectly when I shared it with the previous homeowner - an engineer who agreed to everything I requested. I have also referenced the report several times to complete the suggested improvements that I can handle and feel good that I'm safeguarding my new home. Alex is also extremely responsive, punctual and professional. As I've been working with more and more contractors/service providers I appreciate these traits now more than ever.

The process of selecting and moving into a new home is not easy. Speaking from the position of someone currently working with a wide array of vendors/contractors/realtors I have to say Alex is at the top of my list in regard to professionalism, thoroughness, expertise and responsiveness. On top of it all he's been a pleasure to deal with in all regards and he's someone I would highly recommend to close family and friends. This is the 3rd home I've purchased in my lifetime and Alex's inspection was by the far the most comprehensive. I had to have the property inspected while I was out of state and he definitely went above and beyond in terms of service, communication and follow up. I will without a doubt be utilizing his services again in the future.

Alex is awesome at what he does. His attention to detail is amazing. He surveyed our entire house and very meticulously noted all the issues, potential hazards etc. I would recommend him to anybody getting their house inspected.

Alex is top notch. He's the guy you want doing your inspection work. My wife and I have only the best things to say about Alex's work ethic, professionalism, follow-up, honesty, and level of knowledge of various home systems. Just to give you a sense of his character and professionalism, we had one minor scheduling issue that popped-up on the day of the inspection and Alex did everything he could to address the issue and complete the job on-time. Alex is extremely thorough and definitely very knowledgeable. I absolutely love his policy of only inspecting one home per day and doing it very thoroughly. We were thinking about buying a flip that was very shiny/new on the exterior, but, as it turned out, had a lot of issues. Based on Alex's inspection, we decided to walk away, and boy are we glad we had him do the inspection. The owner is extremely knowledgeable , practical, reasonable, gracious, and took his time to thoroughly review the townhouse and inspect and test many items. I was surprised and how efficient the inspector was. I have had other inspections on other property in the past, and this inspector by far exceeded the prior inspections. He was also careful not to break anything he was testing. I would use him for all other future inspections.

You will not find a better, more attentive home inspector than Alex. I had family and friends pointing me in many different directions for an inspector but came across Hi Tech Home Inspections via Angie's List, read through all 100 A+ reviews - all glowing and from my experience all spot on. Called and sent an email with a link to the home I was interested in and within a couple hours Alex had gone through all the pictures and had notes and questions. On inspection day he was extremely thorough, took his time, checked every possible crevice and saved us from buying a house that would have been a money pit due to the foundation issues. I was soo pleased I asked Alex to inspect our now house and once again was extremely happy with his knowledge and expertise. Ignore the old school website :) and give him a call asap you will be very happy you did!

Very well. This is my 2nd time buying a home and his inspection was MUCH better and detailed than a "national chain" that did my last home inspection 20 years ago.

We hired Alex to check our new-built home before our 11 month builder review. He took his time and went though every nook and cranny in the house. Finding several items that were not up to code. He also reviewed some things that we could do to improve the efficiency of our house with us. Alex performed the most thorough home inspection we have ever had and it was an incredible learning experience. We spent several hours with him and got to know our home inside and out. He gave us the info we need to be able to go and negotiate with the seller's and ensure our home was safe for our family to move into. He also gave us tips to make it more energy efficient. When you spend this much money on a home for your family to live, you want to best and you want peace of mind but you also want to learn about your house so when something does go wrong you can try to fix it yourself or feel comfortable when you have to bring a contractor in to fix it...and Alex is the one guy who can do that...he can teach you, he can inspect your home, and he's professional and friendly all at the same time. Buying a home can be so stressful but Alex turns that entire process around for families and we love him for that. There is no one better and real estate agents and home buyers should not consider anyone but him if they want the very best.
