 + -1 moreGREAT! I am a former Home Improvement Contractor (not electrical) that has just moved to this area. I highly recommend Georgia Electric. I had 4 electrical estimates and Joe was very professional and easy to work with--he's the only one that showed me his license also. We went over the work and wrote out all the repairs and work to be completed. As other electrical issues were discovered and added, Joe was flexible in getting the additional work done at a reasonable price. I felt quite comfortable with the electrians at the house (even when I wasn't there). They always came on time, were very respectful and cleaned up after their work. They also coordinated work with the painters. Joe, Ken and the others were very responsive and pleasant to work with. I also felt the pricing was very reasonable. I will definitely use them again as I need additional work done.
Description of Work: The electrical system in the house I purchased had been vandelized by previous tennants so Georgia Electric repaired torn out switches and outlets, removed broken fixtures and replaced them, added addtitional fans, added remotes to all the fans, installed a new thermostat, and checked the electrical system.

 + -1 moreDo call Joe Cox for your electrical work. He is intelligent, really knows his stuff, and actually takes time to explain things to you as well as provide helpful tips. Additionally, he stands by his work even when the home owner (me) failed to purchase the correct item.
Description of Work: Joe came out to originally check my electrical system and did a detailed analysis of my box both inside and outside. He provided excellent and useful tips. Additionally, per my request, he successfully installed a digital thermostat. However, three days later when the weather changed, I discovered the thermostat was not compatible with my older HVAC system. I called Joe, who immediately scheduled a visit the next day. He came out and installed a mechanical thermostat without charging me again.
