EXCEPTIONALLY BUILT HOMES

Mr. Poole was not able to manage the job. He pulled sub-contractors off of our job to work on others and then blamed the sub-contractors for work not completed. He used money for our project for other projects and did not pay our subs. He failed to take responsibility for mistakes, such as moving a doorway, which he framed incorrectly and was asked to move by both the cabinetmaker and the homeowners. He then tried to charge us for it. In addition, he added extra charges at the end when he realized that he under bid the project or over-ran expenses due to his mistakes. The final blow was a lien placed on our house before work was completed. He reported, "I do that to everyone to make sure I get final payment". We have taken him to arbitration, as stated in his contract. The process has not been resolved. He has stalled and not paid his portion of arbitration. He violated his own contract. We still have not had an arbitration hearing.
