Dorton Co did an excellent job. He opened the watch up and cleaned it and fixed it, it looks like new. The watch is 60 years old and it is the type of thing that you just don't trust people because if they break it, then you just can't fix it. I had some jewelry cleaned and they were excellent. Their prices are very reasonable, I thought I was going to spend so much more but he was very reasonable and he was quick. I have no complaints and I would use him again.

I have known the owner, John Dorton, for nearly 20 years, since we were in the USAF Reserves together. A nicer guy you will not find. His company is not a large chain; John knows his customers by name. For years he would not even charge me anything for small repairs - I finally had to insist on paying him! John is a registered gemologist and, if you have the time, he will tell you more than you ever will need to know about stones, metals, whatever! He designs & makes custom-made jewelry, repairs jewelry, including antique pieces - sometimes while you wait! I took my daughter's fiance there to buy a diamond engagement ring. John put in 20 years of military service to our country, and he is the personification itself of TRUSTWORTHY. His lovely wife Joyce & his daughter also work at his store. Visit John & tell him Chick (that's me) referred you and he will probably give you a discount. Knowing John, he probably will anyway!
