Dr. Erickson was calm but concerned about a suspicious place on my leg. It turns out her concerns were correct and I was diagnosed with melanoma. Dr. Erickson herself called me with the news and carefully explained how we would proceed.

Was able to get appointment within two weeks. Office was efficient and on time. Was in and out of office in about 30 minutes. Dr. Erickson was friendly and made me feel more at ease. Had to have a biopsy performed and results were returned quicker than expected.

I have been going to Dr. Fourney for about 5 years. I tried other Dermatologist before finally picking her. I am very satisfied, If anyone knows dermatologists, I do, having been under constant care for the last 30+ years. Dr. Fourney is at the top of my list as is her staff. She keeps up with you as an individual and does not need to be brought up to speed when you go in there, she is on top of it already. I have no hesitation recommending Dermatology Affiliates and Dr. Fourney to anyone. My wife, daughter and her husband all use them too now! I should have done a review a long time ago.

I saw Dr. Erickson, and she was wonderful. Very personable and easy to talk to. She also really seemed to know what she was talking about. I will definitely be back to see Dr. Erickson in the future.

Never had a skin cancer screening before, so called and made an appointment. Was scheduled with Dr. Erickson. Keep this simple with a pros and cons list:
Pros:
- Dr. Erickson was great! Very nice, personable, good bedside manner, and was very willing to answer questions, even unrelated to the appointment. Her exam was thorough without being a matter of walking through the motions. She even pointed out items I was previously aware of that I hadn't mentioned. Definitely will be sticking with her.
- Communication of the outcome of the exam and recommended follow-ups or 'keep an eye on that' requests were clearly stated.
- The rest of the staff were also pleasant.
- The location in East Cobb is convenient.
- They were willing to see me within a week of calling, which is excellent.
- Their website is extremely informative and helpful.
Cons:
- The office was a bit dated and bland. The waiting room, especially, was dreadful.
- Definitely had the 'pushing merch' feel that many derm offices have. The staff wasn't pushy at all, but there are lotions, creams, and hats everywhere for purchase.
- I did have to wait quite a while in the exam room, close to 25 minutes after the nurse took my initial info, before the doctor came in. In their defense, it was an afternoon appointment, so they may have been backed up a bit.
- I found them listed on my insurance provider webpage as in-network, so I figured a skin cancer screening would be an item fully covered. Nope. Still had to pay $100+ out of pocket. More a con of the insurance, but still worth mentioning.
Overall very pleased with the experience. Will be back!

I like Dermatology Affiliates. I never have to wait long. The office is run efficiently. They have lab results when they say they will. The doctors and nurses are friendly and nice. No complaints.

The whole experience from start to finish was excellent. Dr. Erickson is fabulous. She biopsied a couple of places, removed some minor skin tags. I was in and out in less than an hour. Her staff, from the front desk to the nurses in the exam room were so friendly.
I was called within days to have one of the moles removed. Not a skin cancer, but just a bit squirrelly. Once again, my appointment was within a few days. I was a bit nervous, but the nurse and Dr. Erickson put me at ease. (The mole was on my butt!) No embarrassment in the whole process.
The instructions I was given were clear. The incision healed without incident.
I am a huge fan of this practice. They are full service and offer many cosmetic services that I will take advantage of in the future (I am 62 and in need of much help) But the best of the experience was Dr. Erickson. What a charming, professional pleasure to deal with.
Run do not walk to her services!
