I am writing this delayed review because I have been looking unsuccessfully all this time for a stucco repair company to repair the holes he made in our stucco with the inspection for water instrusion. Other stucco inspectors have been careful not to damage the stucco and to check in inconspicuous places when checking for water intrusion. Mr. Bennett did have me sign a release indicating that this inspection was invasive; but I was not expecting him to dig out places in clearly visible areas of the walls, based on my experience with previous inspectors. Mr. Bennett sealed the holes with silicone sealants (in different unmatching colors) and the latest stucco repair company consulted said that silicone cannot be painted over. The repairman would need to dig out the sealant and then do repair, which he did not recommend since the sealant Mr. Bennett applied is preventing water intrusion and working on the spots might make them even more unsightly. This problem is admittedly a minor cosmetic problem but one that has left visible unsightly spots on our synthetic stucco house. I have not had any remodeling experience at all with Mr. Bennett's company, and this review only refers to the one-time assessment (moisture check and determination of the stucco manufacturer).
