Dealing with Mark Rownd and the rest of his crew was great. Not a single problem or concern - something I've come to realize is a rarity with construction jobs today.
I had gotten multiple quotes from a lot of other companies, including many of the top rated Angie's List companies, and noted wide price swings, frequent no-shows for quote appointments, and some very substantial inaccuracies provided by them.
Concrete Work's prices weren't the lowest quote I got, but Mark was honest and up-front and I felt that I could trust him and the company. I wasn't wrong as I'm very pleased with the work that was done and hope to have Mark and Concrete Works back again for more planned projects.
To be completely candid - I never met Mark Rownd or had any dealings with Concrete Works before this project, so this is a true unbiased customer review, but I wouldn't consider using anybody else but them for all of my projects.
I wish all of the construction companies were like these guys - I'd have a lot less gray hair!

Mark provided a complete and professional estimate in writing. He does not provide the estimate the day of site review, but will provide via email within 24 hours. He kept us updated on the plans to start the job, as this was during several weeks of constant rain, Mark was careful to ensure he could remove the old driveway and get the new cement poured within a rainfree forecasted window. Mark did a good job of keeping me informed during the process. We are pleased with the driveway.

I really wish every company was as easy to deal with as this company. They knew their business forward and backwards. They were very professional, responsive to our needs and wants,on time, price was fair. I feel that every company out there should aspire to be more like them in every way! There are just too many companies out there that say they can do this and that but, when it comes to them actually doing it....well..lets just say they don't do the walk they just do the talk. You have got to see the workmanship they do!! And they even clean up after themselves, you don't have to play mommy to them and clean up after them. How great is that!!!!! You get the very best for your money all the way around!!!!

our original driveway was in poor condition after only 12 years. we sought suggestions from friends whose concrete we had admired & 3 recommended conc works. they weren't the least nor most expensive of the 4 bidding contractors but we felt the most comfortablew/mark. all we can say is we got what we paid for AND also got MORE than what we had hoped. after the driveway success & victory, we were so pleased we asked them to address the garage floor coating since that was also a mess ( same original contractor ). ANOTHER 3 point bullseye ! ! ! We are so totally pleased, proud, & satisfied - not only w/the driveway but

We had a terrible experience with a previous "contractor" who did defective work. Concrete Works of Georgia demolished the defective parking pad. Matt took the time to talk with me at length to figure out exactly what I wanted and what was possible in the space. He came up with an idea for how to expand our driveway that was excellent. Concrete Works also ripped up the previous contractor's laughable attempt at patching a large crack in the driveway, and poured a patch to fill it in. The work was fantastic and better than we could have hoped for. A couple of months have passed and we are still thrilled with the quality of the work, especially the attention to detail. After our previous bad experience, it was so refreshing to deal with professionals! Highly recommended.

I was very impressed with them. They had a project manager on site all the time. They did an incredible job when they laid this stuff out. It's a pretty long driveway, and it has a lot of uniqueness to it, and they just did a super job. They added features to it, that I really didn't think they would do. They ran conduits under so I could run pipes. They were here on time.
