Muyiwa B.
Dec 2013
Circle 'w' was contracted to build our new Home. We made several modifications to the home and paid for all the upgrades. After construction of the home, we informed the contractor that we intended to put up an enclosed fence at the back of the
house for the security of our Children. We requested a clear demarcation of the boundary lines with our neighbor. He clearly marked the boundary lines with lines and informed us that all the areas that had straws were ours and we could
put up a fence along those lines. We relied on his expertise and his representation and informed the fence company accordingly. After the fence was completed, our neighbor contacted us that our fence encroached on her land and demanded that we move it at our expense.I sent several correspondences to Mr Alan Willis of Circle 'W' and informed him that the situation was uncomfortable for us and he should rectify the anomaly. After several requests he finally came by the house at my strong urging and I showed him the alleged encroachment after our neighbor staked her boundary which was 5 feet away from the boundary
line represented to us By Mr. Willis. He conceded that he was mistaken as to the Boundary line and offered to pay Half of the cost of moving the fence. I inquired into why we should shoulder the expense of the mistake. He got upset and walked away saying that 'His offer was off the table'.We are not begging for anything from Mr Willis, we are simply demanding that He treats my Family
and I with respect and dignity and abide by his Contractual and customer service responsibilities. He bought the Land from the Neighbor and they both know where the boundary lines are. We relied on his representation and are greatly inconvenienced by the regular demands by our neighbor to relocate the fence. It is becoming increasingly difficult to relate with him regarding this
issue and have exhausted several possibilities prior to making this complaint to your organization.
