When we were about to put our home on the market in the summer of 2013, we'd used a different company to do some heavy duty grading in the back yard.  That company had laid some sod as well out back, but we weren't totally happy with the quality of the sodding part of that job.  They also left the side and front yards needing work where the heavy equipment came thru, as well as a bare clay, muddy side yard with no sod or landscaping.  Our realtor said that had to be corrected.  We were up against a very short time deadline.
We called friends, and got a word-of-mouth recommendation for Chattahoochee Home & Garden.  We called, and they gave us a quick estimate and were willing to try to squeeze us in their already full schedule.   It had been a weird, very wet summer, so they told us how difficult it was being to get sod cut at the sod farms, but they somehow found enough pallets for our job.
They did a great job preparing the side yard for sod, and laying it.  We had already moved out-of-town, but our extremely picky next door neighbor told us what a good job they were doing in the prep and sod work.  Plus we received photos of the work that showed us how good it looked.  Our realtor was thrilled.
When doing the job, they make a judgement call (we told them to use their judgement) on where to lay the sod. They continued it around the handicap access sidewalk by the front porch a short ways to make it look better, which it did.  They also planted a front bed with camellias and azaleas and cleaned up and remulched the rest of the tree islands in the front yard with all-new pinestraw to give it a cohesive look, vs just adding more on top of a few spots.
The effect was just what we needed.  We were told as the house was shown how much people liked the porch and the landscaping.  Chattahoochee Home & Garden were professional, very helpful, and reasonably priced.  We highly recommend them to anyone in East Cobb, Marietta, and Atlanta who need high-quality landscaping work done.

The design concept was excellent.  Hardy has great ideas and knows his plants.  The right plant for the right place.  Any questions about the care and keeping, he is great.
the communicaion was poor from the office.  Most of the time, I had to contact the company instead of the other way around to hear what the status was.  I got plants that were not on the quote and no one told me about the changes, never mind asked whether it was ok with me,  Part of the job/design is gorgeous and the other part, had multiple problems and errors that were very disappointing. For instance, I got plants that had been damaged and was told that they would look ok in a week or so.
