Work was done quickly - the crew was finished by mid-afternoon on same day they started work. Heavy equipment left some minor ruts, but that was in an area I am not fussy about. All broken limbs and other debris from the felling was cleaned up/chipped and removed off site. The crew was very good about not damaging adjacent trees or shrubbery. I'm quite pleased with their work.

Great! I found the entire experience first class. They took great care not to damage surrounding landscaping (a priority for us). The crew got here on time and went right after it. Nothing laid back about these guys as they hustled throughout the entire job while working safe and smart. Two other services told me this would be a 1.5 to 2.5 day job - Chapman's did it in 7 hours including a solid clean up of the entire job site.

Excellent outcome.  All trees were very close to our house and crew was very careful to avoid any damage to house and surroundings.  All debris removed and left yard very clean.  Will definitely use again.

Chapman's came out to give a quote for removal of 5 trees, one of which had already fallen near our home. They were professional, worked quickly and cleaned up everything. We would use them again.

We've lived on a heavily wooded property for almost 40 years. We use a wood stove for winter heating. I have personally felled and processed firewood for heat throughout this period, and have also occasionally hired various tree service providers to assist me with trees that were either to large or too dangerous for my individual skill level. Therefore, although not a professional, I do know quite a bit about tree harvesting.
  
The crew from Chapman's Tree Service was by far the most competent and well coordinated tree processing team I have ever seen.  The Magnolia was limbed from the bottom up and as the limbs fell  to the ground,  team members would pick them up and carry them to and process them through the shredder machine.  Small limbs and leaves were continually raked and fed through the shredder. Using this 'bottoms-up' limb removal process, within minutes the tree was transformed into a single pole, which was then quickly topped by an agile and skilled acrobat that happened to wield a chain saw.  Soon, he was on the ground, and the main truck of the tree as well.  It was a well-rehearsed and excellent display of competency.  The entire process took less than 90 minutes.
My only issue is that in the original contract I should have clearly said that the trunk should have been cut to 20" OR LESS in length.  They were cut to "about 20" - but, unfortunately, the wood stove can't handle anything longer than 20".  But that's okay. I can easily shorten the pieces that are too long.
Also, Magnolia Trees have very aggressive surface roots. In the contract I asked to have the stump ground, but didn't know about the Magnolia's root system.  For a nominal extra fee we had the stump crew return to do this 'new & additional" work.,
All in all, I thought the work by Chapman's Tree Service was outstanding and will not hesitate to call them again the next time I need help with my trees,

It was a very favourable experience.  The price was a factor and I like the professionalism.  I was very pleased with all the aspects with what they did for me; from the cost to the performance.  It was done quite well.  They did more than the stated of the work when they found some additional stuff.  They were right on time.

It was wonderful and fantastic. They were great. We also asked them to cut the trees into pieces so we could use the wood. The person responsible came to our home and he was very direct and clear with us.

They trimmed 3 trees for an outdoor kitchen.  At our request, the made recommendations about how much to trim including some large branches that had extended over our fence into the neighbor's yard. As with the 1st time we used them, they were right on time, did the job and cleaned up before they left.  Reasonable price, very professional..

They kept me informed and did a very good job.

.I used them during the summer.  I had 3 trees taken down.  They just came out once.  They did a good job.  It was last year.  They did a professional job.  The way they took the trees down.  They had all these ropes and things.  They gently brought the tree down.  It was impressive.  They cleaned everything up afterwards.  They cut all the trees up for me and they took the big stumps off.  They took it all away.  I was very pleased with their service.

Todd visited the house within just a few days of my call and provided feedback on the trees I needed pruned and offered helpful advice on several tree related issues I was not aware of. The first estimate he provided was a lump sum for the work without details of which tree and limbs would be removed ($1,200 ). Though a second more detailed estimate was provided, two branches I expected to be removed were not included.  Chapman is a good tree service but their prices are high and they were unable to resolve my concern about being overcharged.

Excellent work.  See above.  Hire these guys...you will get your moneys worth and not be disappointed.  Please note when stumps are ground, the mulch must be removed by the home owner unless previous arrangements are made.  It was not a big deal and we have some very good mulch for use around the home.

Arrived late but worked efficiently and safely.

Todd Chapman came out at 5pm yesterday & both trees were removed & stumps ground by 3pm today.  One of the trees was laying about 15 feet on our roof.  Todd was very professional, discussed our needs & proposed a plan with estimate.  He was willing to climb the tree versus a crane which most every other service insisted on.  This resulted in the price being half of the crane proposals.  It also saved yard repair because we didn't have a crane parked in my front yard.  The crew was respectful of the house & property.  Very polite & professional in how they went about their work.  The cleanup was fantastic and you can't tell they were here.  We will definitely call them again when we need an arborist or tree removed.

they did an excellent job. they arrived on time and went right to work. the area they had to work ih was restrictive but they were able to take the trees down without damage to other trees or the house. i would highly recommend them for any tree removal..

They did a great job.  Fast, efficient with great care for the other landscaping and my grass.  Full chipping and thorough clean-up.  I did not have them grind the stumps, but am confident that they would have undertaken it with the same care and quality.  Good firm quote, reasonable change-order costing.  Great job.  Look forward to using their landscaping services as they develop it.
