"I am truly sorry that you feel this way. The $ 323 service call was not just to service the condensate pump. We also restored cooling to one of your other systems, as well as worked on your mini split (which is the system you are referencing). Yes, you did say that you felt your mini split needed a new pump. Our trucks are very well stocked and we do carry condensate pumps. However, your condensate pump not a standard pump, but unique to your model of mini split, which we would have no way of knowing until we got to your home. And to even access the mechanical components within a mini split system takes time, as I am sure you know. As a company, it would be unprofessional of us NOT to look at the system to provide an accurate diagnosis. When we arrived, your system was leaking water. When we left, it was not leaking. We did recommend and quote to replace the pump if it continues to leak (which it did). That does not negate the work we already performed. The flip side is that we could have replaced a pump that did not need to be replaced (either by going by what you thought was the problem, or by not doing a thorough diagnostic and at least trying to clear the pump tube to restore cooling until the part could be replaced). To state "$ 957 for a new condensate pump", is inaccurate and unfair to state, especially on a public forum. Customer satisfaction is very important to us, so any time we do not achieve that, it is also a disappointment to us."
"We are so glad we could help you out. We know it is hot out there! Thank you so much for the compliments of the office staff, as well as Gene. We are happy that you had such a great experience and we welcome you to our Service Agreement family :-)"
"Wow! This awesome review is the best motivator for our team! Honestly, our team works really hard to provide this level of service always, so when we hit the nail on the head, we have a collective "Woo Hoo"! We are so happy to have been given this opportunity to help you and your family with this project and know you are going to enjoy your new HVAC system for years to come. Thank you so much for taking the time to provide this detailed review and thank you even more for choosing Bartlett Heating and Cooling :-)"
"Thank you! We appreciate this feedback!"
"Good morning Mr. [Member Name Removed], I am sorry that you were not pleased with our service. Our goal is to provide 100% satisfaction to every customer. It is very important to note that we did NOT quote you $ 500 to replace a capacitor. Was it more than $ 15? Yes, it was. Because we use only high quality, American made capacitors, our cost of the part is more than the $ 15 you spent to purchase it from an appliance store. There are huge differences in types and quality of capacitors available! We have found that using lesser quality parts results in premature component failure and equipment break-down. The $ 500 quote was for more than just a capacitor, as our Technician provided other options to make a more complete repair to restore your system. You were also given the option to replace only the capacitor, which was far less than $ 500. Our experienced NATE and EPA Certified Technician not only addressed the exact component that had completely failed today, but also provided you with the information and options you need in order to ensure that your HVAC system would be more dependable, while saving you money on utility bills and future maintenance and repairs. Often times when a components fails, it is a symptom of a bigger problem. It is our job to give you the expert advice on what should be done to repair today's problem as well as what can be done to help prevent future break downs. Plus, our service comes with a minimum 1 year warranty and a satisfaction guarantee. Can you purchase and replace parts yourself cheaper? Of course you can! Out of curiosity, I called and spoke with the owner of A Team this morning and their price to replace a capacitor is well over $ 40. According to him, the $ 40 was an over-the-counter sale of the part, but not to have a Service Technician diagnose the problem and install the part. In fact, our service prices are quite comparable. It is never fun to receive a bad review. Everyone at Bartlett takes great pride in providing outstanding service to each client, and it stinks to get a poor review, especially when it contains such inaccurate information. Of course I wish that you had called us to talk about this first, as our goal is 100% customer satisfaction. Best wishes, Shannon Bartlett"
