People, stop shopping for a deck company and call these guys! Ours was a big job with multiple subcontractors, many consultations and estimates to get everything right and David and his team at Barefoot managed it all in a professional, courteous, and straightforward way. From the initial consultation with Arley, to Danny's demo and rebuild team, John Norris and his underdeck guys, and Jeff's paint crew, we could not be happier! I've changed a few things as we moved through the project and David has been receptive and quick to respond, even picks up the phone which seems rare these days. Installers did good job of building new deck using aluminum spindles and composite wood flooring per my requests. Deck looks great and several neighbors have even walked over to see what company I used since it stands out. I particularly appreciate the extra time and attention that Justin and Danny put into insuring I was happy with the finishing details. Guys as a whole did great job. I was very impressed at how fast and thoroughly the company they used picked up all the pieces of the torn down deck.

The gentlemen that i worked with were all excellent. From sales to the guys who did the work on my deck. They were punctual and professional i would highly recommend them. They installed a gate and fix my wobbly stairs.

We could not be more pleased with the work performed. Barefoot Decks impressed us at every turn - from the initial consultation to the communication throughout the process. This was our first home renovation project, and they made everything so easy and transparent. Every person that worked at our house was extremely professional and courteous. I'm very happy with the craftsmanship and look of my new screened in porch with an extended deck. It's literally more structurally sound than my house and looks absolutely beautiful. I have received nothing but admiration from others who have visited or live close by.

General mgr Tony Brinkerhoff, our sales contact, is knowledgeable from his experience in the deck building business.  He is 0% pressure and very patient with us, answering all of our initial and followup questions.  We changed the design after rejecting a nicer design proposal from a higher priced, high pressure company.  Tony was cool with the changes and did not upgrade every price to correspond to all of the requested changes as did the other company.
David Balzer, one of the owners, probably has even more significant deck building experience. His oversight and attention to detail were quite apparent. 
Tony and David visited the site every work day.  There were no unexpected delays. The crew stayed on the job until it was 100% complete, exactly one week after starting the demo.
The process of installing the new deck did not at first seem logical to me, but Tony, David, and Danny (the team leader) went out of their way early and often to communicate with us and answer our frequent questions.  I did not want to micromanage the process, but they assured me that they were willing and able to stop work whenever I had a question.
This company is the one you want.  They worked with us to achieve the anticipated outcome.   No hesitation whatsoever about calling Barefoot again.
