Atlanta Porch and Patio

Sol and his team created an amazing outdoor kitchen, bar, covered patio and pergola in our backyard. They took our basic ideas and consulted on how we could maximize the functionality of the space. We are impressed with the craftsmanship and the attention to detail that created a space that we can enjoy for years to come. We are very happy with our extended outdoor living space, and we highly recommend Atlanta Porch & Patio to anyone planning an outdoor living area project!

Please do not take this review lightly. Our dream backyard has turned into a financial nightmare. Sol Elisha built our patio with a fireplace when he was a franchisee under the name Georgia Outdoor Living Designs, LLC. His franchise contract was terminated and he started a new corporation, Atlanta Porch and Patio. It has been determined by engineers that the fireplace has no load bearing footing. The fireplace is falling over and taking the wall and adjacent steps with it (see attached psctures) We contacted Sol Elisha well within the time frame specified in the contract warrantee period to fix this major structural issue and he did nothing about it. We hired an attorney and have been fighting for over a year to have it fixed. We have given Sol Elisha every opportunity to fix it before turning to social media. After Sol Elisha was terminated from his franchise contract (we don't know why but there was a lawsuit involved) he started a new company, Atlanta Porch and Patio, and was so proud of the project he did for us that he put numerous photos of it on the Atlanta Porch and Patio web site. Look under "Stone Features". We are the one with two lanterns in the foreground. Screen grab also attached. These images are incredibly deceiving for any future client. The franchisor is currently suing him in our behalf to get the patio fixed.

The porch looks great. First the deck, in and outside, were replaced. Then the openings for the doors and windows were adjusted to fit the windows which came a few weeks later. I had to have the wood decking stained by someone else who they recommended. The windows were installed and the two doors soon after the deck was stained. One of the doors upon completion was not closing well. I was told that the original framing was slightly off. Someone had to come make adjustments and it finally turned out functioning and looking good. The screws in the deck flooring were tightened a little too tight and ended up slightly below the wood. But on the whole the deck looks really nice.

We wanted a porch to replace a concrete slab patio & enclose the hot tub we were planning to buy. We had a screen porch at our previous home & didn't get very much use out of it. Chris & Sol suggested a 'sun porch' instead, with vinyl windows that would close out the wind & weather. They used paver stones on the pathway & the porch to hold up to constant water from the hot tub. The vinyl windows are easy to open & close & really add to the usability of the porch. They even custom made a door that would fit a 7-foot hot tub! Everyone involved with the project was professional & courteous. The project was finished according to the schedule we had discussed.
