They were supposed to start the remodel of my pool on April 30th and finally showed up on Monday, May 12th after promising on 8 different days they would be here. Many of those days they didn't even call. I'm not sure if they have heard of this invention called a phone. They finally showed up on Monday, May 12th, did a few hours of work and didn't show up on Tuesday or Wednesday. Again, no phone call. This company is full of pathological liars. They know good and well when they tell you they will be there that they won't which by definition makes them liars. Our pool was originally supposed to be finished by Wednesday May 14th but all I have for their efforts is piles of broken up concrete making my yard look like a dilapidated inner city building. A war zone may be a better description. I finally fired them and am now looking for a new company.
Most people say that only those who are dissatisfied will write a negative complaint and that for every negative one there are many many more positive ones. What you need to ask yourself with this company is what are the odds you will end up being like me and never hearing from them. Check out reviews on other sites and you will see that I am not the only one complaining about lack of communication. Take your chances if you wish but I would run, run, run from them. In fact, I did.

They were better than others. I would say it is an “A” job. It is beautiful. I am very pleased with them. If we needed to have some additional work done any of the patios, which is stonework or the decking around the pool, we will call them again because they have some right people. They know whom to contact. Their price was reasonable. They were fine and I would use them again.

We had Aqua Rama come out to do weekly maintenance on our pool. They did not do half of what is listed in their contract with you. Also, one time the rep didn't even show up and we had to call and ask. We were told they had come out but then the rep showed up 4 days later stating they had never been to our pool, there was a mistake with their scheduling. He only came in and did the chemicals and we were charged for the full service. I would NOT recommend this company. They do not respond to emails or phone calls, extremely poor customer service and overall experience.

During the last visit, they came onsite to my home to do a pool closing and there were issues with the time scheduled and the fact that they closed the pool when I was not at home which is not what we agreed to do.

They are outstanding. They are incredible. I've used them consistently for 16-18 years. It is $60 a week for the service. The opening and closing are each less than $500. They are really responsive. If I need something done yesterday, I am not going to jump in front of the 49 people in front of me that have been with them for a long time and I appreciate that.

They did a fine job and we were happy with their service.  We have been with them for years.  They were not the most economical so we shopped around three or four places and they were very competitive and readily available so we went with them.  There are good at everything.

They have installed some pool equipment in the past. They have not been very responsive. They charged extra for work that was not in the estimate. I would not use them again in the future.

This is a family owned business and Bennett, the owner came out for the price quote.  His measurements of the pool were extremely precise as he used a process that took numerous measurements and input into a computer program for an exact sizing.  He concentrated on my request for a pool surface and tile remake.  He did not notice that the cement deck which ran all the way to the pool edge as coping, was separating from the pool.  Another contractor pointed that the deck was separating.  I contacted Bennett and he sent me pictures of an alternative using stone for the coping that he had done.  What did impress me was his confidence and experience in cutting the cement deck around the pool and matching the deck surface height with the stone.  Other contractors on the same process were much less confident in describing what they would do on this piece.   So, I signed the contract which requires three 30% draws for the work.  I was a bit uncomfortable with this, but the company is very established in Marietta GA, and I used my Master Charge for some protection.  In choosing the stone and tile, Rob, the owners son, met me at the Stone yard and showed me my options with his recommendations.  He even suggested the tile to use and it was a better choice then my initial choice.    Work started when promised and took about 2.5 weeks.  Two to three guys came out each day.  Demolition was a bit nerve racking.  Mostly because I was learning what their process was as it went along and as I spoke to the workers.  (Note to Aquarama, a detailed project plan would have made me feel much better.)  The cutting of the cement deck/coping was a perfect cut, even on the free-form pool edge.  The stone was hand picked and fitted one stone at a time and looks great.  The tile went on straight and even.   The Pebble Sheen pool surface was applied by another contractor that is licensed by Pebble Sheen to do the work.  Though  there are some slight imperfections from this hand smoothed surface, it looks great.    Then Karen, the matriarch of the owners, gave me a class at the store on how to maintain the chemical balance which is so important in a new pool surface.
The Pool looks fabulous.  And though the cost was a few hundred dollars more than the highest other quotes, their experience and long history in the area, and knowing that they have a brick and mortar store/location 20 minutes away, gave me the confidence to go with them.

Absolutely terrible results from this company.  After going through weeks of basically begging them to show up to do some work, they would eventually send out a person who could apparently only do one specific task, and if something else needed to be done, then the whole process had to start over.  You wind up into them for weeks and weeks to get something relatively simple done, and then they don't perform.

When I called to office to explain how bad their service had been, they just got defensive and would not believe that anyone else looking at the pool knew anything.  Only their tech would be able to determine if their techs did anything wrong (!) and that I would have to start the whole scheduling process over if I wanted to get any satisfaction regarding their substandard service.  They wanted to tell me that my filter must have been cleaned because their GPS system told them it was!  Didn't matter that their next tech on site said that the filter needed to be replaced and the company that I got to actually work on the system had to service the same filter they said was serviced, their GPS system said it was done!  Brilliant customer service on their part!

These folks are apparently in business only to separate unsuspecting customers from large sums of cash for unnecessary work -- no interest in providing actual service.

So far, they have not responded to a filed Better Business Bureau complaint, and based on the phone conversations I've had with their office, I doubt they will resolve this properly.  So, please learn from my mistake and stay far away!

I spent $600 or $700 over several visits. I think that the technical guys that come to your house to do the work are very good but sometimes, they are not so well supported by the office staff. There was a problem and it was rectified. The technical guys are fine in terms of their professionalism whereas the customer service guys suck. I will use them again in the future only because they are close by.

Whie there seem to be lots of folks that work on pools, it seems harder to find folks that will work on spas. This is the second time we have used Aquarama and we have found them to be consistently be great.

They were on time and very professional. Later that night I back checked all their work, as they we able to perform the work without me being there. They did an excellent job. I feel they took the attention to detail that I would to protect my pool equipment from the weather. They were also able to install my pool cover, which is no easy task since there is a wall and the pool is curved. Again an excellent job.

They were very good at what they do. They were also very professional. When we asked them about something they let us know everything that was going on. They were always on time. The price was fair, especially for the work that they did.

Aquarama Aquatech Pools and Spas has been doing my pool service for years. I am very satisfied with their work. They are very reliable and come when they say they will. I also like that they are very careful around my property. Their prices are very good, but I don't remember what I pay them.

I called on a Thursday for service and was told they can't make it out until Tuesday. Since I had used there store for purchasing chemicals, I wanted to give them a shot at repair work. Jeff called approximately 1 hour prior to arrival at 5 pm on Tuesday. He had all the proper seals and tools needed to complete the job. Within 1 hour he had everything repaired and working. Jeff was very informative of other issues to look out for, which he pointed out to me during repairs. Although I'd seen multiple bad reports on Angie's List for Aquarama, they pulled through for me just fine. I'd gladly have Jeff back out for any future work needed.
