Appliance Repair
They were very helpful and informative on how to maintain the appliances and what had caused the issues. They were prompt and professional. They arrived on time and made sure everything was taken care of. They cleaned up well.

Appliance Repair
Response call was prompt. Same Day. The tech checked the components and determined that it needed freon. Agreed to have freon added. He also told us that there was a leak in the refrigerator line. Did not quite understand because refrgierator and freezer had been cold for last few days, but not cold enough for ice cream, etc. When he tried to add more freon, the meter he used to measure the freon did not seem to move at all. He even told us that he was concerned and recommended that he not add any more, but refrigerator should get colder. In addition, all components looked fine and that there was nothing more that could be done. We thanked him for his professional opinion. My husband even tipped him. From there, the refrigerator deteriorated. The motor got louder through the day and the internal temporature of BOTH the refrigerator and freezer became MUCH hotter. We left it over night believing that by the next morning, it would be cooler. By 5AM the noise of the refrigerator was unbearable. Plus the smell of meats, fish, etc. was pretty bad. I opened both the refrigerator and freezer to a complete mess. I unplugged the unit and spent the next two hours cleaning out all food. We went without a refrigerator for the next 4 days.
NOW. There are a few things that I really question here.The tech was courteous, prompt and kind but I am concerned that this service call actually made this situation worse than needed. The refrigerator was COLD before he worked on it and continued to be cold until he left. We question whether he accidentally released the existing freon in the unit. This would actually explain our experience the next day. We really could have used the existing unit until a new one was purchased. So ultmately, I am out the cost of a service call, a tip and have to replace an entire refigerator of food.
I would never use this service again, but would highly recommend that this company really train their technicians about proper procedures especially using freon. And if they are not sure, provide to them an on-hand expert to assist with difficult troubleshooting.
