My husband and I just moved into our home.  We fell in love with it because it's a sanctuary of trees, exotic plants and shrubs.  The previous owners designed it that way.  After a few weeks of trying to maintain what we could, we knew we needed a professional!  It was too much upkeep and we didn't have the knowledge to properly care for what we have.  That's where Steve and his son's come into the picture.  Not knowing where to turn since our yard is much more than mowing and trimming.  I signed up on Angie's List to search.  The description listed for Steve's business includes, exotic and specialized plants.  I contacted Steve right then.  He was very professional, easy to talk to and extremely knowledgeable.  He and his son arrived to assess our property and to discuss what would be needed to bring back our now, over-grown yard.  We were amazed at how they knew all the species of trees and exotic plants.  First visit much attention was spent walking through our yard explaining in detail about the plants with recommendations for their upkeep.  We felt very confident that we were in good hands!!
Upon their arrival they went right to work.  After 8 hours of very hard work, my yard looks amazing!!!!  We are so thrilled with the results and the outstanding job they have done. 
I don't normally write reviews however, it would be a disservice not to share with all of you our wonderful find on Angie's list.
In conclusion, we will never call on anyone else for our landscaping needs:)

Steve is a super nice guy.  He did a good job but the initial quote was $30 and after the 1st cutting he said it required a lot more time than he anticipated so he had to raise the price to $45 (which is the quote I'd gotten from several other larger outfits as well).  Unfortunately, $45 is out of my budget so I'm back to cutting it myself.  He offered to help me (for free!) get my riding lawn mower to the repair shop so I could do the lawn myself.  Fortunately  I found someone that repairs riding mowers that was willing to pick it up for me for a minimal charge so I didn't have to bother Steve with it.
