American Overhead Garage Doors & Openers

We got 3 estimates for a new insulated garage door and they were all within the same price range.  What we heard later was that American Overhead Garage Doors do not have the same high quality as the other providers.  That may not be true but we went ahead and went with the garage door provider that could get our choice of garage door installed quickly.

 I received a call last week from the company to have a maintenace check done on the door. I thought this was a good idea and had them to come out. The tech wasn't here more than 10 minutes when he told me I need to replace the bottom panel on the door. There was nothing wrong with the panel other than it was separating from the piece next to it. The separation was caused by the poor workmanship of their tech that had serviced the door last year. I told the guy they need to replace the wrong-sized brackets that were put on last year by their tech. He called his office and they refused to do anything about it. They try to sell you a bunch of stuff you don't need. I have to assume they are paid commission on what they sell unfortunately I fell into their trap. And their poor workmanship has caused damage to my door which they refuse to fix.
Don't use this company!

No response from them at all so I did not use them.

They has the best price I could find, arrived on time, unpacked and installed the door quickly, and the workmen were polite and courteous.  They cleaned up when they finished, and took away the old door.
