The Solution

You can’t go wrong with this highly experienced Company headed by Mr. Eddie Freeman. They can provide all large or small services, from the complete renovation or repair of any or all interior or exterior of properties to small sophisticated repairs. There are very few building and service tasks that they cannot accomplish at an economical expense. I had two large windows with wood rot, one in front and the other, a specialty kitchen window in back,. I contacted several well known contractors to come and evaluate for options to repair. One wanted to replace the front one (double window) but this would entail all of the front ones (3) to be replaced also so as to maintain the building appearance. ( Super expensive option). Other companies offered somewhat similar expensive options. The rear kitchen window would also need to be replaced, but they could not guarantee duplicating the function and design. Mr. Freeman viewed and because of his expertise, suggested repair of the damage to the front window. Although bad, he thought repair was possible with a new sash and accurate wood work. He cautioned me that the rear window however was extremely damaged and very well may need to be replaced. With his extensive contacts he said he could arrange an almost exact duplicate. I accepted his thoughts and quotes and the repairs were accomplished as advertised and indeed the kitchen window was replaced to our satisfaction. Bottom line: Mr. Freeman saved me a significant amount of monies through his expertise and knowledge. ( Not only that, but he is a very likeable person. )

Eddie Freeman came out to look at our punch list when we couldn't even get other companies in Carroll County to return our calls. He was available the following week, knocked out our issues in a single day and charged a very reasonable price. Eddie is very detailed oriented and goes beyond the original request to make sure everything looks good. He has hung an interior door for us, patched a 3 x 2 foot hole in drywall and pressure washed our front porch. We keep asking him back for new projects because we trust his work and he shows up when he says he will.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this company!! The work I needed done was no simple task. My current home was not set up to handle the work load of a dishwasher, so Eddie (owner of The Solution) had quite a task ahead of him. He had to rework the existing circuit breaker as well as install an additional circuit breaker before he could even get to the dishwasher. Then, he had to cut into the woodwork, which previously housed storage drawers. Once he began the dishwasher installation, he discovered a leaking pipe, which he also repaired. After a bit more work and a few more adjustments, the job was done. Throughout the entire process, he maintained the highest standards in kindness, honesty, professionalism, safety, and quality. He went above and beyond to make sure the job was done right the first time. And I talked to several potential handymen before choosing Eddie, and none of them mentioned anything about electric work and pipes. I am so thankful that I chose The Solution, as no one else would have done such an outstanding job. I have been using the dishwasher for many months now, and I have not had a single problem. Everything works beautifully. My home is also in need of other repairs, and as soon as it's financially feasible for me, I will be hiring Eddie again. The Solution is a wonderful, wonderful company, and I truly feel that anyone who hires him is incredibly lucky to do business with him!

We called The Solution and they fixed the issue and we haven't had any other problems with the plumbing issue since they did the repair. They are professional, knowledgeable, dependable and we are very pleased with their work.

Did not go well at all. I spent over $1500 at the home Depot with him picking out the materials we needed. He started charging me from the time he left his house, and billed me a total of five hours just for pick up of materials! When a person charges premium wages, you expect a certain degree of expertize. This contractor is very slow. His contract states that he will complete all work before he starts another contract, but he never completed my project. He built a wooden box for the fireplace heath, never finished securing the box or tiling. He was supposed to put in a mantle and never got to it. He removed baseboards in order to frame the door ways but never replaced the baseboards. I paid this contractor about $1800 for 3 days of work but got at most 1.5 days of work, and I am being really generous. Me and my husband let him know before he left that day that we did not feel like we got 3 days worth of work. all he could say was but I was here for 3 days. I could go on and on. Never hire this contractor on an hourly basis! He rides the clock. He was excessively slow with my project. He set up in my garage and did more walking back and forth than working. He talked a lot. He cut just 1 piece of wood at a time, nailed it and went back to cut another and repeated this process. My question to Eddie Freeman is if you knew how slow you were, why make me spend all this money at the home deport only to charge me a ridiculous amount for supplies that you have yet to use? Eddie barely used half of the materials I bought. He is sloppy with his notes. picked up the wrong size door at the home depot and had the nerve to charge to exchange it. I spent almost $4000 on this project and have very little to show for it. He did not even complete the crown moulding in my very tiny foyer ! I have made several attempts to reach this contractor to remedy the situation to no avail. That is why I hope my review will be helpful to others.

My wife and I had extensive termite damage to our home in Kennesaw. I’m a little of a handyman myself, so I decided to dig into the job myself. After tearing out all the woodwork and drywall on our bay windows, and taking up part of the floor, I realized that there was more work than I had time to do. We were scheduled to have replacement windows installed the next week and there was no way I could get this done in time. Most of the studs and sheathing was either water damaged or eaten by termites. The only thing holding the bay windows up was the stucco on the front of the house. We contacted several contractors to assess the damage and give us an estimate. The quotes ran from $15,000.00 to $20,000.00 to remove the bay window structure completely from the house to repair the damage. We contacted Eddie from The Solution. He told us that he worked by the hour and that termite damage was one of his specialties. I purchased all the materials he needed and had them ready for his arrival. Eddie arrived on time as promised and started right away. I told him that we were scheduled to have replacement windows installed the next week and the openings for the windows needed to be exact. He explained what he was going to do assured me that it was not that bad. We had to leave him and his helper in our home while my wife and I went to work. He updated me throughout the day with photos and text messages. He was very clean and conscious of our home and contained the mess to just the room with the bay windows. He completed the job in three days. It would have taken me a month to do the work he did in a short time. He did a beautiful job and the cost was just $2,300.00. The window installers came the following week and the windows fit perfect. His card says "do it right the first time" and it couldn't be more accurate.

Repairs were complete in one day and the quality of the work was excellent.

Eddie and Alex(his co-worker) haveskills! They both are very punctual, thorough, and very meticulous with their work! They both pay very close attention to detail and make sure we were satisfied with the results. They also did some extra things on their own to improve what  he seen to the house that needed to be addressed. Their knowledge of all things is impeccable! I would recommend this company to anyone that i know and those i don't know! We will most definitely use them again in the future!!! He fixed and repaired what he had torn apart to install or fix. We are beyond pleased for the work Eddie and his workers did!!! Thank you Eddie!!!

He is punctual, reasonable and so meticulous with his work and I would highly recommend his services to anyone.  My corner wall unit is beautiful.  He will do any type of work you need done... everything from yard work to carpentry.

He was great and very professional I appreciated his service and his reasonable pricing. He also went to pick up the supplies I ordered.

We had many worries with this job as it involved supporting the entire inside of the house with jacks and support beams, removing the main beam running down the middle and full length of the house to replace it. We crawled under the house for inspecting and he quickly outlined the entire plan verbally and also in the contract. The job took 3 days and was on time each day completing it in a very professional manner. Was constantly checking the floor inside for leveling and can say, been a long while since our home felt this SOLID so all aspects of this job exceeded our expectations. Cleaned up so well couldn't even tell they was here. He initially said we were in good hands with choosing him and he was most correct.....
So glad to have run across Eddie and no doubt, we'll be doing business together again and have already recommended him. He and Shawn made a great team as they worked together flawlessly and in the end, we are soooo pleased with all aspects of the job!!!!!!!

Mr. Eddie was very professional. Unfortunately this project took more time than originally thought because of unforeseen problems. It seems that every time Mr. Eddie removed one piece of rotten wood he found more rotten wood or old problems that had been covered up and needed to be taken care of before the wood could be replace and through it all Mr. Eddie was the picture of professionalism, not once did he become upset with the set backs but always the professional had a way to fix the problem and was always willing to discuss the new problem and the repair. I have recommended Mr. Eddie to others looking for a handyman.

What started off as a simple door install turned into a major project. When Eddie removed the old door we found that there were major issues that needed to be addressed. The height and the width of the old door were not standard so Eddie had to cut the drywalll and reshape the outside of the entry way to make it fit and look finished and professional. I can't say enough about the fantastic job Eddie did. He was courteous, professional and just a really nice person. I will call him for future jobs and will definitely recommend him to friends, family and neighbors.

Mr Eddie Freeman and his assistants, Ronnie and Alex tore out a very old beam which had been damaged and was structually unsound. It was on a exterior corner wall of our home. They did a incredible job of tearing out all the bad wood and siding and putting some solid support beneath the boards they replaced. All the damaged siding was removed and replaced with primed cement fiber board siding. The window above the siding was taken out due to a rotted sill and replaced with a window I had bought earlier and had on hand. Mr. Freeman , Alex and Ronnie would arrive early and work all day until dark getting this job done. They completed it all within a 3 day time frame. Their work was excellent in my opinion. I would definitely call Mr. Eddie Freeman back for any job I had. I was mostly impressed with his work ethics and his old school methods he used on his woodwork. I was very happy that he got what I would call a large undertaking done in 3 days time.

Well, let me tell you! After he finished plastering the walls he cut through, he asked me if I had any
holes in the wall that needed fixed. I had a hairline crack in a bathroom wall, and he used the last of the plaster to
fix it for me, took him 5 mins. He did that out of the goodness of his heart. Now, here's the kicker, I was power washing the driveway while he was working, I'm 64. I was about half way done when he got finished. He said how would you like to finish that job in 10 mins ( I'd been working for 3 hrs). Of course, I said I would. He put my hose on his big ol power washer he had on
his trailer and he, my brother and I took turns with it (cause now it was fun) and knocked the job out in 20 mins. No charge!!!
