Cabinet Making
$12,500
Tim did arrive on time for all appts. and provided an estimate. He gave a estimated time of completion but was late in completing work.
1. His measurements were wrong and he had to redo the "elbow" of the cabinets. Luckily, this was done before the granite was cut. It required numerous phone callls and emails to get him to return and make repairs.
2. While installing the cabinets, he made a big hole in my newly installed wood floors. If he had mentioned it at the time, the slabs of wood could have been replaced but he did not.( "Plugs" had to be used.) When I mentioned this to him, he started yelling at me.
3. He installed a "plastic" 2 shelf lazy Suzie which he said was warrantied to  hold 50lbs. When he installed it, I informed him I did not like it. He asked that I try it and if didn't like it, he would replace  it. He did come back and tightened the top shelf. (I only put light items on that shelf.) The lower shelf slops and drags with 31 lbs. of cans. (I weighted them) He will not  not replace or make modifications to it. Now it is a large space that can not be used efficiently. .
4. The electrical outlet at the end of the "elbow" did not work. His electrician did come out to make repairs. It had not been connected.
5. Two of the drawers would not stay shut and opened about an inch. He did return and tighten them but one still opens.
6. We selected a granite. Luckily, we went to the warehouse to assist in laying the pattern before they cut it. They were about to cut another slab which was quite different from the one we selected. The granite company did a great job installing the granite. ALWAYS CHECK AND ASSIST WITH THE LAYING OF THE PATTERN.
