CENTRAL GEORGIA MARINA & BOAT

I needed the boat fixed in 5 days when i was planning on leaving for Florida.  I called every marine repair shop in Middle Georgia and this provider gave me a positive outlook on getting the job done much quicker than the competitors.   Based on their comments, and the courtesy of the person i talked with, i decided to give them a shot.   Other shops quoted a two week wait before they could even look at it.   The person that answered the phone in the front office (not the shop) indicated 'no problem, bring it on in.'      It ended up taking them 2 weeks before they could even look at the boat.  It then took them less than a day to make the repair.   Maybe it's their policy to paint a rosy picture on every repair time estimate, just to get business in the door.    I would recommend talking to someone in the shop,  or pressing them for a more detailed answer.   They were very helpful and apologetic, but i would rather have had an honest estimate up front.   All that said, i was very satisfied with the repair itself, and the price, and the people were courteous, especially putting up with my call every few days for a status update.
