Dennis gave me an estimate as requested before any work was done. He replaced the faucet in the master bathroom, checked the water line in the laundry room and unclogged the drain. He was pleasant and performed the job well.

Everyone I?ve dealt with at A-1 Plumbing so far has been unprofessional. Macon can be a tough market to find reliable help, but if you have the option to avoid working here, I?d strongly consider it.

Surely there is one company somewhere in Macon that is professional or maybe he?s the one that is expecting more than the professional companies in Macon are normally expected to do. From my first phone call with Demetrice, I was hooked on their customer service. I had a leak under my home and was looking for a service call quote. Before they even made an appointment, she worked with me on the amount charged for the service call. I didn't even have to ask! When D and his brother, Dwayne, arrived, right on time, they were very polite from the time they said hello until they left. They discovered that my water heater was leaking and gave me a quote for replacing this. I had to have time to wrap my head around this. I am on a fixed income so doing this was a shock to my wallet. ( my sweet baby brother.and parents came to my rescue) Anyway, I called D back, and he was able to locate a new water heater and come back within a few hours to replace it. While he was here, he repaired my outdoor faucet for only the price of a service call! He and his brother were such a delight to converse with. They were also very professional. It was a good thing they came back because my water heater was literally busting at a seam! It would have been a bigger disaster had the tank blown. I sincerely hate trying to find people to do work around my home. You just never know who or what you are going to get. I was blessed to have this company do my work. My brother is a plumber, but lives several hours away, and I trust him with all advice. I was consulting with him during this process, and D was being upfront and honest with everything. I have put them in my contact list incase I ever need them, again. I never write reviews on companies but this one deserved a review.

They referred me to another company because they felt they could not resolve my problem. I appreciated them being honest and not continuing and charging extra when they knew it needed more than they could resolve. Also they gave me a list of three different septic companies. Very helpful. I would definitely call them again.

"I appreciate that he said I did great work, but I am very disappointed that he was not happy with the price. I explained to his wife (he was not there) that it would be more expensive than normal because they lived so far from the plumbing supply house. Before I got started with the job, I explained that most of the expense was going to be for driving to and back for parts. I guess she did not explain that to him. I generally beat other licensed, legitimate professional plumbing companies by 20%. If you get another estimate before I get to your house, show it to me and I will beat it by 20%. Again, I appreciate his kind words."
