She was running very late, so this was frustrating at first, however, once she got to my house and started cleaning she did a good job.  My only setback is that she rearranged everything as a way of showing that she picked things up and cleaned under them--I'm grateful for the thorough cleaning, but I don't find it necessary to move everything.  Overall she did a good job and I would trust her to clean my house again.

Excellent!  Mrs. Anna is wonderful and very responsive.  I am saddened to see the negative reviews, as it sounds like a misunderstanding because we have used A Helping Hand on numerous occasions to take care of a house we have in Macon. We live in Maryland.  She has always done a beautiful job.  While I am not always there to see the work, my realtors tell me it is great, and on one occasion, I flew down to take a look at the house just shortly after she cleaned it, and it looked great.  Everything was sparkling.  I would certainly recommend A Helping Hand.  I know she is busy, and you have to schedule in advance, which may be the reason for some of the negative reviews on responsiveness, but she has always made time to help us out.

They showed-up on time, and they were excellent communicators.
They clean the house, the carpet, and painted a room.   She
insisted I give her the key, bad move. I work out of town.
I stopped by the house on the weekend and the air condition
was left on full blast, normally my bill is $30, but after Helping Hand left 10
days later I had a bill of $68, when the house is unoccupied.
After they stated they were done, I showed up and they were
eager to receive payment. I paid before I thoroughly inspected, after I
inspected I found the stove was not cleaned at all, and the carpet seemed untouched. However,
the paint job looked okay, but they put a hole in the wall from the door.
I called Helping Hand back, and they returned to correct the
issues that is when I realized they do not like work, and they have no cleaning
skills.  They seem only interested in
making money the easiest way they can.
I cleaned the stove, and called out Stanley Steamer to clean
the carpet.  Other than the paint job
which I finished it was a total waste of money for me.
Oh, by the way, watch-out, they are selling pre-paid legal
services.

I called, they respond, we made appiontment, they arrived ontime, and  completed the work.

Beautifully!!    I actually flew down to Georgia a day after she cleaned my house - FANTASTIC!!!  Great work.  She didn't know I was coming, so I can attest that this is a good and honest company!

Ms. Thompkins is fantastic. She's very responsive and easy to work with. I don't have to question that she understood what the house needs. My real estate agent raved about how beautiful the house looked. Ms. Thompkins even took the time to redecorate our newly vacant house with some towels and rugs that we had stored for display. We are extremely grateful to her team and her for all that she did, and I would not hesitate to contact her again.

This was an excellent experience. My husband and I are 800 miles away and the renters moved out of our house. We didn't know what to do or who to call, but we found A Helping Hand and Anna was excellent. She made arrangements with our realtor to get in the house and took care of everything. She really put us at ease. We're military and while this was going on, my husband was in Afghanistan. With so much to worry about in getting the house cleaned up and ticket prices over $600 and no time to take off work, I didn't have to with Anna's help. I will use them as long as I have the house and I recommend them to everyone. They are fabulous and top notch!!
