Mr. Higgins is very professional and knowledgeable. Both times he had to come to the house, he was exactly on time and was accurate as to what he told us to expect on the repairs. He has such a calm wisdom that made us have a justified confidence in his abilities. We feel very grateful to have found him! And his prices are extremely reasonable!

It took one and half days to do all the work in our older home.  He had to run the electricity from the panel in one end of the basement to the other end where my husband's workshop was located.  He also had to rewire a motion detector switch for the light in the basement, install an outlet in the guest bath, a wall heater in the guest bath and master bath.  He also ran the electricity for a disposal to be installed in the kitchen.  He said he noticed the hot water heater was not grounded and that was an acccident waiting to happen so he fixed that at no charge to us.  He gave us a 5% discout due to being an Angie's List member.  He and his son did excellent work and cleaned everything up at the end of each day. We will definitely be calling him again when we need more electrical work.

I liked them, they did good. He came out right away. He did a nice job and he was prompt. He was reasonable. I would recommend them. He was professional and polite.

Bill arrived exactly on time and was completely courteous and professional at all times.  He kept me informed during the repair, cleaned up afterwards, and presented me with a very clear receipt.  I plan to have Bill install an electrical outlet in the coming months.  I feel Bill is very reasonable and I truly believe there is nothing he can do to improve his service.  If you want the BEST, call Bill Higgins.  I wish everyone performed their job so well.

He's reasonable in price, gets the job done, and is professional in manner.  It takes a few days for him to get there but it was worth it.

He is excellent! Very punctual and shows up on time.  The only problem is he is so good he's very busy.

I bought a new home and all of the bathrooms had the light and fan on one switch.  I asked Bill to create two switches one for each item.  He did this for four bathrooms.  I also asked that he install two floor outlets in my living room as I have an open floor plan and had cords running across walkways.  He originally estimated that the job wold take one and half days and would cost around $1000.  He brought his son with him a 7:30 AM in the morning and completed all work by 3:00 PM the same day and for $250 less then estimated.  Bill and his son were polite and a pleasure to have in my home.  It is nice to have the same person you call, give you the estimate and do the work.  That way there are no communication errors.  This small business provides great service.  I would call Bill again if I need more work done.

My bedroom light switch had shocked me and the lights were flickering. I found Bill Higgins on Angies List. He called me and arranged a time to meet me at my home the same day. He arrived right on time (which I appreciate because I work) and fixed the problem light switch. He then proceeded to check all of the electrical outletts in my house to make sure they were all ok. I will be glad to use Mr. Higgins in the future.

I have used Mr. Higgin's several times and have always been extremely pleased.  He is very knowledgeable as well as his son who will, many times, assist him on larger jobs.  He has replaced several light fixtures for me as well as installing new outlets including in the floor.  During his first work with me he also let me know that he saw a potential fire hazard with the lights over my desk as the previous owner had put in non insulation rated wiring.  He replaced those for me all up to code and even went right away to the hardware store to purchase the correct materials, came back and installed the same day.  I would recommend Mr. Higgins to anyone.
