It went fantastic! I wondered how they would access the tree since driving a vehicle around either side of the house would have destroyed bushes. Rayfield Tree Care has a machine that was parked in front of the house and could reach over it to access the tree. Nothing was damaged during the work. They cleaned up and removed everything they cut down. Charles Rayfield and company really know what they're doing.

Very professional. Easy to work with. Their estimate was in line with several other companies, but their services were more professional and thorough. They had to reschedule due to weather, but gave me plenty of notice and showed up on time the nest day. Also did a very thorough clean up job.

My husband and I were impressed with Rayfield Tree Care. Mr. Rayfield and his wife, Donna are professional in communications, promptness, knowledge of horticulture, work done and cleaned up, with no damage to our property in any way. I'm giving an " A" on the price, not because Rayfield is a low cost service, but he charges a fair price and his skills are valuable.

Great job. The owner Charles gave good advice on what needed to be done,

|and he and his team of workers came on time and were very efficient with their use of time.  (They cut down and mulched up a Bradford Pear tree in our front yard and trimmed up another one so we could have much more of a front yard!)  We would recommend them to anybody who needs tree work done.

Charles, the owner, was very knowledgeable and I learned a lot about trees during the time he was on site for the proposal. He and his crew were prompt on the day of service. They were speedy in completing the job and did a good job of clean up.  We would use them again.  I thought the pricing was very reasonable.

I hired Rayfield Tree Care through a daily deal coupon sold on Angie's List.
David was on time to the first appointment and was friendly and knowledgeable about my requested service, pruning a tree in my backyard.  After a short review, we discussed some options, and he promised he'd send me a written proposal.  I received a written proposal shortly thereafter, and after exchanging some emails with his support staff, agreed to have the work done.
After we agreed to terms, David showed up on time and completed the requested work promptly, and cleaned up.  Overall, it was a very smooth experience, and I was very pleased with the quality of work and David's customer service.
I would not hesitate to recommend Rayfield Tree Care to anbody looking for a similar service.

Charles came to our house twice before performing the services, first to consult with us, then to fully inspect trees on the property, make recommendations, and provide an estimate.  He was pleasant and professional on both occasions.  Charles arrived on time for the work, accompanied by his stepson, Andy.  They worked efficiently and completed everything as planned.  Charles did all the climbing, and he is quite proficient at it!  He is also just the kind of guy you would want to work on your trees - obviously an outdoorsman with a love of trees and the environment.  Andy is his assistant, and seems like a very nice young man.  There were no problems, and we plan to call him again.

I purchased the special of buying $150 for $300 dollars of work from
Rayfield Tree Service.  For $300 of service they were here for 20
minutes!   I was hoping to get a few other lower branches on another tree done but they were priced way to high.

The owner came out a month or so ago to get an idea of what we wanted done and give us a price.  At that time we agreed on what would be done and how it would be done.  At this meeting I told him no one could stand on the porch roof to reach limbs and he assured me that they would not get on the roof.  But the owner himself got on the roof with  his gasoline powered trimmer and pole pruner!   After pruning the shubbery  it became clear that the owner and I had different ideas as to how the the small water oak tree and the small cherry tree were to be taken down.  Eventually, I agreed to his plan and the tree came down with out damage to adjacent plants or grass.  The problem was not so much with the quality of the work but with the owner's attitude when I question him at various times.  He seem to get annoyed and angry when I requested a change in his plan. However,  he changed our original agreement to suit his convenience several times.  The owner's son worked with him and was extremely pleasant  and easy to deal with but the owner had the final say over the work.

Charles and his stepson, Andy, showed up early in the morning of February 27th, and went right to work. Charles is quite a climber, and he pruned off lots of old, dead branches from about 5 or 6 pine trees, giving uis a lighter, better-looking back yard. They cleaned up the branches, shredded (or whatever it is they do to make chips out of the wood), and promised to be back tomorrow to finish the whole job. I have never been happier with a tree man in my life! Charles is a true professional!
Rayfield is not the cheap tree service that many people perform. Charles and his wife, Donna, are both Arborists, which means to me that they have been trained and are people who love trees. Charles will tell you that he will NOT cut down trees which are able to provide life and beauty to the surroundings and when I first heard that I winced a bit but did not say anything. Now I am SO HAPPY. My wife wanted to have all the trees in our back yard cut down, but she absolutely LOVES the yard now that only 2 trees were actually cut down. The rest were only pruned and will continue to provide shade, light for the garden, and a place for the birds to hve their homes. We have just come from a WIN-WIN situation.
I would recommend Rayfield Tree Care to anyone who wants to really improve their property. These people are true Professionals and will provide the best recommendations you wiil ever have for improvementds.

Mr. Rayfield is a nice man and a good worker.  I think my mistake was leaving him alone and not supervising him more closely.  He came back another day, at no charge, to do some work on the crepe myrtle.  I didn't ask him to do more work on the maple trees because I didn't know what to tell him.  Maybe he did all that was required, but the maple trees have a lot of crossing limbs.

The owner is Charles Rayfield and he is the one who came over. Incredibly, incredibly impressive. Because of another company who had looked at my trees, I thought I was going to have to have some taken down. They had said that they were going to have to charge me $1000.00 for all of the trees they would need to take down. Charles told me none of them needed to be removed. He believes in preserving trees and he knows so much about them. He knew what all the trees were in my yard even though most of them are dormant without any identifying leaves. He just had such knowledge. I cannot tell you how great this guy was.

I had also wanted advice on where I could place some large trees. I am going to buy several trees and he is going to plant them. He said he could go and buy the materials for me but that I could save some money by just getting them and having him plant them. The thing with planting trees is that you really have to know where to place them and you have to prepare the soil.

It is just such a pleasure to meet someone who knows what they are doing and is such an expert. He was helpful, he didn't try to rip me off. I am a master gardener and he impressed me. He is the best person to talk to about your trees.
