I am so grateful for the work this company has just done for us. I'm sorry this is so long; I just hope it is helpful. We closed on our house in Lawrenceville in the middle of August 2019. 5 days later, sewage backed up into the house from through the downstairs shower drain. It was quite disgusting. We called a company who cleared the clog and then ran a camera through the sewer line. The technician showed us a section he said was partially collapsed. They quoted either $1,100 to simply install an exterior cleanout for future use or $5,800 to repair the line and install the cleanout. Everyone involved was extremely upset. We were strapped for cash due to so many closing and moving expenses and wondered if we had made a horrible mistake. We got a couple other estimates that were in the range of $3,300-$3,500 (for a 10 foot repair and 1 cleanout). That was much better, but we waited a couple days to let everything sink in. Then my grandson's cross country coach heard about our problem and recommended Mills Plumbing. He recommended them so strongly that we felt like we should call. Lo and behold, they quoted $1,500 to repair the problem and install the necessary cleanout. I was skeptical, but based on my own estimate of the work involved I thought perhaps it is doable for that price. And today they did it. They did far more work than any of us expected. They excavated, then hand dug out the line. They discovered insufficient slope on the line, a 90 degree coupler (bad idea), and no glue whatsoever holding the pipes together! They were able to just pull the pipes out, no sawing! There was no visible crack/break, but the pipe was sagging in the middle. They then replaced about 15 feet of 4 inch sewer line, reduced the angle of the coupling to a 45 degree bend, properly glued the connections, and added a 4 inch homeowner's cleanout. They did all this for $1,500 never uttering a word about additional expense. The owner offered to install a 6 inch cleanout for the sewer main, explaining to me why that would be beneficial and I approved that additional work for only $250. So they did all the work shown in the pictures for $1,750. We are so thankful and there is no doubt that we will use them for any future plumbing work.
