HOLDER LANDSCAPE MANAGEMENT INC

Overall pretty average.  They get a less-than-average grade because (1) their price is considerably higher than competitors and (2) cost too much to keep replacing stuff they broke.  One visit they ran over a sprinkler head and then claimed they didn't do it (no one else mows the lawn and the head was crushed and shredded  - I replaced it).  Another visit they cut wires for landscaping lighting (again claims "it wasn't us" and I replaced).  Another visit they damaged some plants (I replaced).  Another visit they briefly parked in front of the house, then drove off (I pay monthly so that "visit" cost me). 
I did not renew my contract and have since hired a more conscientious lawn care team that costs far less and doesn't break things.
Holder has been in business many years, how come there are no other reviews here on Angie's List??

They never did a great job over the yr we have used them, then they broke our window which they pd for the replacement. Then the crew refused to use a weed eater, which is what was being used at the time the window was broken, & was using an edger... for 3 weeks my weeds were not taken care of, I had a vine 2 ft long growing out of a box wood... Richard came after my call & fixed Everything .... Lawn look great... I requested for the crew that was coming not to come back!!! This was all on 8/14/12 Got another crew & the guy that mowed on the rider went so fast that the grass looked awful... Looked like it hadn't been mowed at all.this was on 8/21/12.... Richard came again on 8/24/12 & it looked great ...then on 8/29/12 the same crew I had asked for them not to send back came & ruined my sod ... Completely retaliation on me!!!! On 8/30/12 I sent an email along with pictures to the office & followed up with a call. I ask that the service be stopped at my address & ask for a call from the owner. I DID no receive a call from the owner until 9/13/12.. at which time he came to my house for a visit...I had called the office 3 times & from what he said Kevin & Beth had kept it from him until 9/12/12... the day before he called & came to visit... He offered to take care of my issues but I was done at that time!!!! So Beware!
