It was a debacle from start to finish. The guy was a nice guy but he was not professional. He came and gave me an estimate and I told him that I want to go ahead with it. He gave me a date and time to come back. He was on time. He did the work and when he was finished, he pulled out my dishwasher and he did everything he was supposed to do and he would show me when he was done. He had a raw wire hanging down under the sink and he said that that was how that these houses were wired up. He told me that the dishwasher was the same way. I told him that’s not what I asked him for but he showed me how everything in my kitchen was pretty much wired that way. So I wasn’t happy about it but it was kind of like he took a shortcut. He finished and then when I went to pay him, I went to give him my credit card and he told me they don’t take credit card which was no one mentioned. I wrote him a check and he left and then I proceed that I have to clean up after him. He left and when I went to plug my coffeemaker back in, everything blew. So I had to call him back. He had to leave a job he was on. He came right back and he realized that he just drilled his way through the back of the cabinet into the wall to run this wire. He ended up hitting something. Instead of doing it the right way, he rushed it and broke a wire. He had to pretty much just rewire it and he ended up breaking my pipe for my dishwasher. The water was leaking and he had to go buy things a minimum of 4 times because he kept getting the wrong things to fix it. He ended up being here all day. He didn’t charge me anything else. He ended up having to return my dishwasher on its side. He had to replace a pipe. Three weeks later, my dishwasher stopped working. It was a disaster. They were not that bad as far as their price.

They were very nice and did exceptional work. The pricing was extremely reasonable and they provided a free estimate. They were also very professional and we were happy with the work.

We called the company we chose off Angie's list (Gold Star Elec) . They called back very quickly and set up an appointment for the next day. The technician was right on time, did the work, explained the estimate before work and explained the increased fees after the work. We, at no time, felt taken advantage of, but rather, well served.

The electrician came on time and he was polite. He was good and he did what I asked him to do. Everything else was fine except for the price. I felt that the price was high. I did get some discounts too.

We had bought a new lighting fixture to replace an existing ceiling light and needed it installed. The complication was that our living room ceiling is 16 feet tall. We called and set an appointment with Gold Star Electric two days before the agreed date. The two electricians came on time the time agreed. Brandon and Justin did a terrific job. Very professional. They had the right equipment including a ladder tall enough to reach the ceiling. The whole job took less than an hour. We were very pleased with the outcome and thought the price was reasonable for the work done. Would definitely use this company again for any electrical maintenance work at our house.

This is the second time I have used this company and the second technician. Both times the work was completed by true professionals who are polite, efficient, and extremely helpful. They both demonstrated a high degree of knowledge and expertise in their work. Additionally, they both showed exceptional consideration of my needs as a consumer and respect for my home, protecting my carpet, walls and furniture in every aspect of the services they performed. The cost was very reasonable both times. I am so impressed and satisfied with the work of Goldstar Electrical, Inc. that I will always use them when I need any electrical work done in my home.
