T&J Exteriors Inc.

Several years ago I used T&J Exteriors to replace 3 or 4 windows on a recently purchased home, so I contacted them again when I decided to replace the rest. My first experience was great; the owner met with me to determine what I needed and to answer questions. After the installation, he called to make sure I was happy with the product and service. My second experience was different; I had to leave a few messages before I heard back from the owner. He told me that he subcontracted out all his window jobs, saying someone would be out to measure. The man who did the measuring and the man who actually installed my windows were professional and competent, and I love the quality the windows. After the job was completed I did not contacted by the anyone to see if I was satisfied, but about a week later I got a call asking for payment. Maybe I am just old school but I believe spending more than $5,000 with a company entitles me to at least a "thank you for your business".

They came and evaluated the problem by looking inside house, attic and went on the roof. It was the rubber boot. Repairs were made the same day after the price was quoted. I appreciate them coming for the FREE estimate and being prepared to do the work the same day. Rated B for responsiveness as they were apparently on vacation when I first called and left the message, but were extremely prompt after their return and did explain. I found them to be caring, when they knew it was a leak, and professional. The job seemed to be well done and the roofer efficient and personable. It was just done today but I am confident it is fixed.

Tracy was very competitive in price. He showed up when he said he would and gave a overall view of what he would accomplish for the project. He started the project when he said he would and his team completed the project promptly. The house is 25 yrs old and this face lift of soffit and fascia covering took years off its look. He applied the materials to the porches and breezeway as well and then installed new gutters and covers. Looks great and no more painting!!

Tracy and his crew installed three new roofs for me. They are not the cheapest nor are the most expensive. He found an issue while estimating one of the roofs that none of the other estimators found. Mainly because of his knowledge and because he actually got up on the roof. Most of the estimators did a quick visual from the ground and used satellite images from a web app. I would definitely higher him again.

When family and friends could not recommend a roofer, I joined Angie's List and found T and J Exteriors. I spoke to Jake who was awesome. He was honest, professional, and extremely easy to talk to. Because this was my first time hiring a contractor I had many questions. Even in the aftermath of hurricane Irma, Jake was able to answer all my questions and promptly return every one of my calls. He even made a courtesy call during the repairs. Out of the 3 quotes I received from contractors, T and J was the most detailed and reasonable. They sent David out to do the repairs. He did a meticulous job blending in the new shingles with the old. From the street you can’t even tell the difference! After the work was completed, he even showed me the rusty vent that caused some of the leaks in my roof. I am overjoyed at the end result. I've already referred T and J to my sister who just moved to Georgia. I’m referring him to my coworkers today. T and J is when business is done right. I will definitely use them again.

I could not be happier with the work that was done. Have used this company several times in the past. They are honest, always on time, and charge a fair price. I wouldn't use anyone else for siding or roofing repair or installation.

Great. The house looks absolutely beautiful. The workers were polite and very professional. The contractor kept a close watch on the job. I definitely will hire them again. I was also pleased with the price.

The job went great; the crew was prompt and efficient and they cleaned up the work site to the point that you could not tell they had been there. I would recommend T&J for any type job and will definitely use them again if we have any exterior work to be done.

Very pleased with their service. Work was done as contracted and we are pleased with the outcome. We wouldn't hesitate to use T&J Exteriors again.

Roof was replaced with in two weeks of first contact. Tracy was courteous, a great communicator, and available for any questions. My roof looks great, and his workers cleaned up the site very well. Most importantly, Tracy and his men were always here when they said they would be.

After reaching out to several roofers and getting a slow response,we look on Angies list and called T&J Exteriors. Nice family run business. They were prompt and gave us a fair estimate,completed required paperwork for our bank very quickly. The owners were awesome to deal with from start to finish! The crew completed the new roof with expert precision and cleaned up without a trace! Based on their superb service and customer care,we will use them for our replacement windows without looking any further! I would highly recommend Tracy,Cindy and son Josh for all your exterior home repairs. The best!

T & J responded to all texts and calls and consistently and  looked for feedback as to how they were doing.  The various teams that performed the work on our property were courteous and tried to please every step of the way and they did. These guys are a class act.  They spent 8 days working on our house and I did a walkaround every day at lunch time and then again early evening.  They cleaned up each night and left zero mess.  I told Tracy that I wanted our house to look like new on the outside and it does.  I am an engineer and come from multiple generations of of contractors and carpenters.  I have worked in the building trades and know what a good job is.  They did a GREAT job.  Thank you Tracy!

Very pleased with the job. They were on time. Started the job when they said they would. Tracy was very professional and kept me informed. My house looks very nice. My friends and family love the new look. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing exterior work on their home.

Before submitting his quote Tracy, walk around with my wife and myself and took photos of the house and described each detail of the repairs that were needed,
Once he submitted the quote, we  asked how much was required for a down payment, and he said, when the work has been completed and we are satisfied.
He and his crew kept us informed throughout the project. This is a crew that cleaned up when they finished for the day.
Upon completion of the project, the premises were left  impeccable. 
We are very satisfied with T&J Exteriors, Inc., and we highly recommend them without hesitation or regret.

It went very well.  I was impressed with their process.  First they called and asked to send someone to personally a**** the work required.  The assessor inspected the outside window and inside window while explaining  window terminology and described what would be replaced.  He also was provided a selection of wooden or vinyl replacement windows and found a need to replace a second window.  He explained that he would write up his assessment and that his boss would provide me a written estimate including price and estimated time of work completion.
     The next day, his boss called and confirmed what his assessor had reported and e-mailed me the written estimate. I took my time ( three or four days), selected vinyl windows and replied with my choice by e-mail.  The company ordered the windows and called me as soon as they arrived (about three to four weeks).  The owner then, displaying great flexibility called me to schedule delivery and installation of the windows.  Due to two weeks of constant rain, no plans were made to install the windows until the weather was forecast to improve and remain good (sunshine).  The owner provided the name of the window installer.  The installation technician called the following day, introduced himself and worked with me to arrive at a convenient time for me.  The technician was punctual and went right to work, only pausing to go back to the hardware store for window related support items. He worked alone and took him about four hours to complete the job.  No one asked for any payment in advance.  The installer informed me that while  removing a piece of exterior wooden molding he inadvertently pulled out a piece of stucco. He caulked it immediately and explained that he would consult the owner and devise a plan for the repair.  The next day a stucco repair specialist called me and arranged a time that very day to repair my damaged stucco.  He too was punctual and did an excellent job.  The following day, the owner called and  ensured I was satisfied with the work.  I provided me with the invoice as promised with no surprises and I payed him.  This process took about three months but appears to have worked well.  Each person with this company did a great job communicating with me.  Great professionalism.
      

Tracy responded to our call immediately, did a walk around, and gave us a quote. His team was punctual, courteous, professional, and detail oriented. Everything they did was of the highest quality. We decided to add gutters and downspouts - Tracy gave us a good, quick quote. The gutter team arrived 2 days later (when vinyl work necessary for the gutters was done) and were very efficient.
We could not have gotten a better contractor for the work we needed done. We highly recommend T&J Exteriors, Inc for any exterior work.

Once work schedule was established the painter (Kevin) arrived at the appointed time, made material list, and proceeded to get to work.  The work took several days and Kevin and helper (Dan) arrived on time everyday.  The work was done in a very professional manner under very trying circumstances (the hottest week of the year so far).  I highly recommend T & J.  Tracy kept in contact on a daily basis.

Tracy and his son Jake came out at the time specified and gave me an estimate on replacing my roof.  He brought shingle samples and gave me advice on the dormers that I wanted removed.  After talking with him I realized that removing the dormers would drastically change the curb appeal of my house and make it look smaller.  I am so glad that I took his advice.  He kept me informed and updated on when he would start the job and advised that the date may change in case rain was forecast in my area.  
The crew arrived on time along with Tracy and also a work crew foreman that would be overseeing the progress and reporting to Tracy.  Tracy left to check on other jobs but told me he would be back and to call him if I needed him before he returned.  The work crew spread drop cloths all around the house to catch debris and protect plants.   They worked from early morning until almost dark and completed the roof in one day.  They did a really good job cleaned everything up and then rolled a magnet around the yard to make sure they retrieved any stray nails.  My new roof looks great!  I was not asked for any upfront fees  and only made payment after Tracy and Jake did a walk around with me.  Tracy is very professional and makes sure the job is done right and to your satisfaction.   I would definitely recommend T&J  Exteriors Inc., Roofing.

Very prompt.  Very professional, they did an excellent job on the repairs and the painting.  They use one of the best paints by Sherwin Williams. They (Kevin -the supervisor) and 2 painters pressure washed the house, perfectly replaced all the damaged wood and tightened the gutters.  I was very impressed with their workmanship and their clean-up.  I would definitely use this company again and recommend them to anyone needing house painting and repairs.  They started on Monday and finished by mid-afternoon Friday.  Excellent, can't say enough good things about them.
