I had to get the blood test done to check my cholesterol levels. Dr. Reddy is an excellent and good doctor. It is difficult to understand him just because of his accent. I don?t know how long he has been in this country. He has actually got me on a cholesterol lowering drug, which was first introduced in the 60?s. The drug that he put me on was Lescol, which has been like a miracle drug for me. He is very knowledgeable about heart issues and heart medications. I couldn?t get an appointment to see him immediately, when somebody referred me to him. Even though he has got a wonderful bedside manner, it?s just the language barrier which makes it a little difficult for me and I don?t mean that in a bad way. I keep asking him to repeat whenever I don?t understand what he is saying. There is always somebody in the room and they help me understand what he is trying to tell me.

What I like about them is that they are thorough and take time and talk to you. I have a problem understanding them sometimes though, but I guess that is just a cultural difference.
