PEOPLE SELF STORAGE

I rented a small storage unit from this company for one month (1-31 Mar, 2010). It required a $25.00 deposit which was to be returned when I moved out of the unit and returned it in good condition. When I moved in I told them I only need it for one month and that I could be checking out on 31 Mar. I moved my things out and did a walk through on 30 Mar, the attendant stated everything looked good. I asked for my deposit back and the attendant stated they had to mail it to me and I should receive it in 1-2 weeks. I called after 3 weeks inquiring about my money and they acted surprise that I had not received it and stated they would check with accounting and make sure I get my money. Another 3 weeks went by nothing, I called again and got the same company line and a promise I would get my money in 1-2 weeks. It is now September and I still have not received my deposit refund and I continue to get the runaround from this company. Each time I call the same attendant (it's only one employee and I know his voice) states you must have called the other office, this is the first time I heard of this, and then the promise. I never get a follow up call and I still haven't got my refund! I believe this is the MO of this company and they routinely keep deposits and figure it is not worth anyone's time to fight for $25. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!!!!
