Greene & Sons Plumbing & Heating

One of the sink strainers cracked causing a bad leak. Called Greene & Sons as I had used them once before and liked them. Called on Saturday and arranged for Greg to come on Monday morning. He showed up exactly on time (after calling and letting me know he was on the way). Took one look and went to work. Within the hour he had both new Sink Strainers in and all the plumbing and was writing the paperwork. No muss, no fuss, and charges a very decent reasonable charge for the work performed. This is the second time I have used Greene & Sons and solidifies my opinion that I won't use anyone else for plumbing.

The company was timely, provided and estimate, and charged me exactly that. Because the old waterline line went under a concrete patio they were going to reroute it slightly and hand-dig it through our perennial garden. When they got there to do the work, they found a better solution, which involved bringing the water line in through a different side of the house. They did it for the same price, including drilling a hole through the wall and running extra interior piping to connect to where the old line had come in, and removing the old hole in the wall piping--and they charged the same amount.
They were timely, professional, neat, and cleaned up after themselves well. Will absolutely use them in the future.

Promised to come out yesterday. Did not. Came out today. Did not give me an estimate. Worked 2 and 1/4 hours and told me that the reason it was 825 dollars is that this was an emergency call and that other plumbers were also charging time and a half. Asked him how much he charged an hour and how 89 an hour times 2.25 could be 825, even if at time and a half. I will never call them or trust them. If all plumbers are doing this, then good for them. I don't know how many people make 367 dollars an hour. What a racket.

Paid close attention to everything. He didn't even need to pay extra attention to some details. If anyone can get him he does great work. A really really professional and nice guy.

Greg was called in to rectify a mess left by a prior plumber. He had to come in and rip out all of the plumbing that had been installed improperly. The working conditions were very difficult, as it's an old house with a tight crawl space. He had to design a plumbing system that would fit in the old and new construction. The work was done quickly, and neatly, The plumbing lines are straight, and well braced. That is very difficult to accomplish in a 100 year old house. He had to plumb a new kitchen, 2 1/2 baths, outside spigots, hot water system and washing machine hookup and new gas lines . Once the job was started, he and his crew came every day and worked long hours. The city inspector commented on how neat and professional a job it was in a difficult restoration.

They were here when they said they would. They were quick. They identified the problem quickly and got it fixed. Overall, a real pleasant experience.

They did a good job. They cut the phone line by mistake but they had the phone company come out and mark it before they did any work. So, it was not their fault but the phone company's fault because they put the wrong line. They were very helpful in working with the phone company and getting that fixed. They were good. Eventhough, there was a problem with the phone line which was not their fault, they helped me to get it resolved.

They responded almost immediately once contacted and were able to complete the repair work that afternoon. While I was not able to obtain multiple quotes, I didn't feel like I was gouged.

We love them. It was a pretty big job and they did a good job. They are very honest and prompt. They are a family-owned company and are concerned about their reputation. I would recommend them to anyone.

It went very well. We were happy that they responded quickly. We've used them a number of times. He goes the extra mile to please his customers and is very courteous.
