Very good service. Reliable and responsive. I like the more natural approach, and after several years, our fescue lawn has never looked better! Reasonable price, good value.

I'm incredibly impressed with this company's response to my concerns. I thought the lawn wasn't looking its best, so I called the office for help. I received a prompt call back from their Managing Partner Don Smith who took the time to come out to the property and provide feedback on conditions. He took his time answering all my questions and even followed up in a detailed email - with pictures!

The following is a recap of our phone conversation today related to your Bermuda lawn.
Back Lawn
· At best some parts of your Bermuda lawn receives 5 hours of direct sun light. Tifway 419 requires 8 hours of full sun to look it’s best.
· Area next to patio and home extremely thin turf along with black algae does not receive enough sunlight for Bermuda to survive. Suggest you expand your planting bed and install shade loving plants and ground covers.
· One options for consideration is in the fall change your back lawn to tall fescue which can be planted with seed. Tall fescue is a shade tolerate cool season grass requires 6 hours of sunlight to look it’s best so it will thin out around late June . Tall fescue has to be reseeded each fall and looks it’s best from late September thru May.
Right side of home (has A/C units)
· Standing water coming from next door neighbor property due to design of grade for home. Unless you can redirect the flow of water or install French drain system this will always be an issues during periods of heavy rain fall.
Left side of home
· Down slope planted with junipers. Junipers are a sun loving plant suggest you consider planting a shade loving ground cover . Some examples are English ivy, Vinca minor or major, Liriope, or Mondo grass.Front Lawn
· Left side under Post Oak tree turf is brown due to shade from the oak tree. Suggest you consider removing the lower limbs from the oak tree in an attempt to allow additional sun light to reach the turf grass.
· Right side turf has a brown patch and the color is not lush green. We will apply additional fertilizer to this area going forward to help push new growth and green turf. I have enclosed some pictures taken while I was on site to help identify the areas in question. If you have questions or would like to discuss please contact me at your convenience.
Thank you,
Don Smith

They have overlooked some brown patches. We are uncertain that we would use them again.
Response from Simply Green Lawn Care
"I just happen to see your rating of our company today. I would welcome an opportunity to meet you in person and inspect the areas in questions. If I am correct these areas are on the left side of your home end of the driveway and the back of your home both of which I have discuss with your husband. In my opinion these areas are due to lack of sun light. Zoysia requires at least 6 hours of quality sunlight to grow. I will contact you to set up a on site meeting and do everything in our control to resolve your concerns. Thank you, Don Smith Simply Green Lawn Care, LLC."
