Mike showed up on time and did a very professional job of replacing old kitchen sink with new sink.I have used MIKE in the passed and will use again in the future.

The price that they charged us was very reasonable.  They were very, very helpful.  I was running a little late that day and they were here a little early but they waited later than the appointment time.  I really appreciated that and no one does that these days, so that was a plus.  During the job, their cleanup was very nice.  My husband went to Lowe’s and got the faucet but that was the cheap-kind and we found out that these guys had one available for us, which was reasonably priced and of a better quality.  The garbage disposer was $300 something and the faucet was about $125 or something like that, so the parts came up to about $400 or $450.

Very good service. They were prompt and courteous, and cleaned up after the job.

He was very personable and fair in our dealings with him.
In talking to several friends that also had PRVs replaced at their houses, I found that Mike's price was lower in each comparison.
As Mike said, he is old school. He charges based on exactly what is needed to resolve the issue. I would certainly use Mike Folsom plumbing again.

They were prompt and professional. They found that the problem was a lot less complicated that I thought and charged me accordingly. They gave me some good ideas that I had not thought of about handling some future work that I mentioned to them.

Mike returned my first call the same day. He looked at the job the next day and had a bid for me within 24 hours. He was at work within one business day of me accepting the bid. As a contractor and residential designer, I could tell his focus was on improving the level of work he found rather than matching the chaos of the original low-bid plumber. Mike's price was market competitive. We accepted his bid against one higher cost and one lower cost bid. We accepted his bid because he used his brain assessing the work. Brains have become priceless.

The water service included shutoff, pressure regulator and one tap. The gasline included elimination of some seven blackpipe joints by use of stainless steel flex hose. Mike was prompt and professional. He streamlined the existing services and left the area cleaner than he found it all within one day.  I am very satisfied with his work and look forward to using him again. Mike and his assistant are real journeymen. I highly recommend them.

Prompt and on time, Mike and his helper did a quaility job at a fair price. They cleaned up well and had me test and inspect everything before leaving.

I contacted Mike Folsom regarding standing water in the yard. He came out within 48 hours and gave me an estimate and approximate date on which the line could be relocated. After inspecting the yard and current water line, he suggested replacement of the line from the street to the house as there seemed to be a major break in the system. I was contacted before he came out with his crew to do the job on June 22nd. They were early and worked very quickly. The job was completed within 4 1/2 hours and the estimate was accurate. This is the second job that Mike has completed for me and I am very pleased with his overall work and professionalism.

Mike is professional and competent. There was a water stain in my ceiling below the shower. I thought it was the drain, but it turned out to be water escaping from the shower and puddling in a corner of the floor, then sinking through the grout. Thank goodness! This represented an easy fix, saving me hundreds of dollars. I recommend Mike and will use him again.

I contacted the company and arranged to have Mike Folsom look at the problem for me. I gave him a date and approximate time that was convenient for me. I was very relieved that he kept me informed and contacted me on the day he was scheduled to come out. I was very pleased by the professionalism of his work and would not hesitate to have him work on other projects on the house if needed.

Went fine. He tried to coach me over the phone to be able to fix the problem myself first (save some $). He came out as soon as he could. He determined we needed a new water heater and while it was draining, checked for a gas leak. It took about 3 hours to replace the heater.

I called for service due to a leaking toilet in the powder room. I was also hearing what sounded like water dripping in the wall. I called for an appointment and spoke to Mike Folsom, the owner. He told me he would call that evening to set up a time. He did not call so I called the next morning and set up an appointment for the next week. He came on time and was very polite. He checked the powder room toilet. He tightened the bolt on the tank and sealed the bottom of the toilet. He checked the meter and said there was no leaks. He thought the water I saw was from the loose bolt. He said the 'dripping' sound I heard was probably expanding and contracting of the wood in the wall. He also tightened the kitchen faucet handle.

Smooth experience with Mike and his partner. Even though he had a family emergency he found the time to come out to my house and give me a free estimate for replacement water supply line and relocation of washer hookup. We opted to have our contractor handle the washer hookup since they were already tearing up the kitchen but we are extremely happy with Mike's handling of the larger water supply job. They and their Ditch Witch dug up the old piping, laid down new copper piping, added two new shutoff valves and added a water pressure gauge all in under four hours. Left the yard as clean as they could considering the digging and were as professional as they come. I will definitely use Mike in the future for any plumbing needs.

Mike was punctual in calling back to set up an appointment. He called the morning of the appointment when running a little late due to traffic, approximately 15 minutes. He was very friendly, answered questions and explained thoroughly. I felt that he answered my questions honestly. He even suggested that there was one item on my list that appeared to be OK as it was. He was neat in his work and cleaned the work area thoroughly afterwards.

Mike did an excellent job....he handled my call promptly and came when he said he would. He performed the work well and the charges were reasonable for the amount of work he did. He did and exceptionally good job.
