We called Birney because people who recently had come into our house said they smelled gas. Birney came out with the neatest gadget for sniffing out gas leaks. He found a loose fitting under out gas range, improper fittings in the basement to our gas log in the fireplace upstairs, and gas leaking inside of our outside heating and air conditioning unit. After turning off the gas to the outside Hand A unit, Birney insisted I call our Hand A company right away to get someone out to fix the outside unit. Then he went to buy the part he needed to install proper fittings downstairs. Birney fixed the leaks to the range and gas log in no time. As the outside unit is 20 years old, he gave me the name of a trusted Hand A person he knew in case I needed a second opinion or a new unit.

Birney is very professional, prompt, and does great work at a very reasonable price.

I find Birney to be very professional, friendly, honest and dependable. He comes when he says he will, he's reasonable, and does great work. Not only would I recommend him to a friend, but I recommended him to my daughter.

Much of the expense was the cost of the copper. Birney was very responsive, on time, and knowledgeable. He also gave me some advice on a couple of additional projects. He will be my regular go-to plumber for the future.

Bernie was very efficient, friendly and was willing to do the work on a weekend. He quoted us an approximate price before beginning. After installation, he stayed to be sure there were no leaks.
