The staff was quite pleasant and the DVM was especially nice. He was warm & genuine and he was interested in what I had to say. As well, this facility didn't smell bad like some places I've been in the past. This is my new vet. I will totally be returning when it comes time for my cat's yearly check-up.

As always, Dr. Smith loved working with our little dog. He checked him out thoroughly and recommended a course of treatment, made good suggestions. We've had our pets treated at Beaver Crossing for over 30 years, and they have done right by them all, including emergencies and up-to-date knowledge of surgery techniques. Wonderful people, caring staff!

They do a great job. Both of my dogs had pancreatitis a couple of times and they took really good care of them and got them back to health. We use them all the time. I would definitely tell a friend or family member to go. They do good work and they care about the animals. I would definitely recommend for them to take their pets down there.

They always do a wonderful job. They have seen both of my babies through bouts of pancreatitis,which was scary but they take wonderful care of them. Also when my older dog had gotten to the point where we had to put her down, they could not have been kinder or more compassionate.

One of my cats is a special needs cat and Beaver Crossing Animal Hospital and Dr. Mieras has treated all his problems he's come down with over the past 6 years, starting with a severe case of Gingivitis-Stomatitis that eventually required almost all his teeth be removed, to the allergies that would cause him to cough/hack so badly I feared he'd never be able to catch his breath, to the latest illness a urinary tract infection.  Each and every time Dr Mieras has correctly diagnosed what he is suffering from and has successfully treated him.  When my cat suddenly stopped eating, and displaying other symptoms of a UTI, I took him to see Dr. Mieras who quickly confirmed he did have a urinary tract infection and that furthermore he had cysts in his bladder.  She gave him shots to treat the infection and pain, and other things to help him as well.  She prescribed he be placed on a special diet, and reassured me it was okay for my other cats to be on the diet also.  Having a special needs cat is expensive, but thanks to Dr. Mieras and Beaver Crossing Animal Hospital, it isn't heartbreaking.

The hard part was to chase him down and put him in the pet carrier to bring to the doctor's office.  I did enjoy watching him meow  in an angry tone as he got all of his shots plus a blood sample.  After that the doctor asked me to obtain a stool and urine sample for analysis.  Well the stool sample I got easily but, he(Salem) fought me tooth and nail over the urine.  I followed all of the instructions by his doctor and nothing worked.  Even the Internet told me how to do it and in that websites closing remarks it suggested that I need to see my Vet again.  They gladly took Salem in to inject a fluid in him to get a urine sample.  I asked if there would be a bill for this.  And, the Vet smiled and said,"There will be no bill today Mr. Billingham".  To end here and to explain why the urine sample was so important is that Salem lost 8 pounds from his last annual exam last year.  And, the Vet wanted to make sure his bladder was okay.    

I could not be happier with the service I received from Beaver Crossing Animal Hospital and Dr. Mieras.  I was desperate to get care for my feral cat, and it was extremely difficult to get the cat to the vet on a predetermined schedule.  I could not anticipate when I could humanely trap my cat, but Beaver Crossing Animal Hospital was willing to take my cat whenever I could catch her.  They sedated my cat and administered the vaccines AND brushed out her badly matted hair.  They gave my cat a free exam and then didn't charge me for brushing out her mats!  I was so impressed! Afterwards, Dr. Mieras spent a bit of time discussing what she had done and how my cat had done.  I cannot stop speaking the praises for this veterinarian hospital.

The teeth removal was done on 6/08/2015.  The Vet called and told me that Sapphire had done quite well and that he found two other bad teeth that needed to be taken out .  And, he mentioned that her medicine would be by syringe instead of pills to relieve her pain and the method I would need to give it to her.  He explained that the clinic had run out of the pills at this time.  She's doing pretty good after the surgery and I'm happy with that!

They're very friendly, honest and quick with their services. They know your time is valuable. So they get you in and out.

We have one cat at this point and we have had several dogs and several cats over the past few years.  Our experience with them has been good and we have been happy with the treatment that we have received, I think their prices are fine, and I like the people there.

Great service - on time, friendly and great staff. I was extremely pleased and will bring all of my pets to Beaver Crossing in the future. The office was clean, the doctor was on time and everyone greeted and made a fuss over my dog. It was a wonderful experience for both of us.

My cat became ill and needed to be seen by a doctor but my vet had closed her practice.  I found Beaver Crossing Animal Hospital on Angie's List and was impressed by the reviews.  Though I phoned on a Friday afternoon I was invited to come right in. Dr. Smith saw us within a few minute of our arrival. He was very gentle with Sam who is not a particularly friendly cat. Dr. Smith listened carefully and questioned me about Sam. He checked her quickly then let her roam around the room while we talked which resulted in Sam remaining calm rather than freaking out as she often has done at the vet. Dr. Smith gave her a shot to calm her stomach. I appreciated that he did not propose expensive tests since the problem appeared to be minor. We talked about other questions I had and Dr. Smith gave me very good, practical advice. I'll definitely be bringing both of the cats in for routine care and I've already recommended the practice to a neighbor for his dog.

My dog got a bathe and he was groomed. I also bought dog food there and I have been using them for 15 years.  They are professional, courteous and they care about the animals. Their prices are reasonable and they do a beautiful job.  One time they had a substitute groomer that did something I did not like and I called them up and they were very courteous and they fixed it. He has sensitive skins so they make use a special soap and they don’t charge extra for that. They are very customer oriented and if you are late they don't get upset with you.
