I've been an audio nut since the 70's. I still have my Harman-Kardon Citation series in the office, in fact (which they repaired for me); added about a $4-5k system from them after beating the bushes looking for someone who talked this language. They love this stuff. They constantly listen to the stuff on the market; from the $2k systems all the way up to (gulp) a hundred thousand plus. The range is in the store. At whatever level you can afford, they've listened to all of it and carry what they believe as aficionados to be the best in the industry at every price point. They'll tell you what they like and DO NOT like about what they have, and have the knowledge to discuss (not bad mouth) the alternatives. Not handy with all this complexity? No sweat, they'll come do it for you (yes, you pay for it). Handy with stuff to do it yourself? They'll spend all the time you need to talk you through it. That's for free. Wonderful, wonderful, honest, competent people.
