Horrible customer service! No customer service after they took my money even though they clearly state a one year warranty. Stay far away from this company unless you like sloppy work and being degraded when you ask them to come make repairs. I cannot recall ever being talked to so rudely from any company I have hired to perform work on my home or any company I?ve done business with at all for that matter. I hired AGV Constructions, Alex, to install my kitchen cabinets. Among other issues, they installed a piece of trim that was clearly defective. The cabinet company gave me a new piece. I contacted Alex, the owner of AGV, about replacing the piece. I also needed them to adjust some of the cabinet doors that were hung uneven. The knobs were not aligned either, but I don?t see how this can be fixed without leaving a bunch of patched holes in the doors. He stated he was out of town and would come out next week. A few days later I get a call from some very rude woman at AGV, I?m guessing a family member of Alex?s since their business description touts that they are a small family business; his son, Santiago, did most of the installation. As soon as I answered the phone this woman starts ranting at me that they did not make the cabinets so it was not their fault. When she finally took a breath I jumped in and explained I knew that they had nothing to do with making the cabinets and that I had contacted the cabinet seller. The seller had given me a new piece. I just needed Alex to come install it for me. She said it was not their fault (her favorite mantra throughout the conversation, well, throughout her rant, it wasn?t a conversation) and they would not replace it for free. I explained that they knew it was defective and they should not have installed it in the first place, but I would pay for them to install the new piece. She went berserk! She went off on me. She started degrading me and the company that sold the cabinets. Said they would not come replace it for any reason, for any amount of money. She stated they would not come out to replace the piece because the cabinets were junk. She had a few other choice statements then hung up on me. I could hear a man beside her that sounded like Alex, so I assume he knew and approved of this woman?s rant at one of his customers. Alex and AGV certainly had no problems taking my $1,400 to install the "junk." It is my understanding that AGV had been installing these cabinets for this company for about 10 years, but this company recently severed ties with AGV due to customer complaints. Too bad for me it was after I had hired AGV. I was extremely nice to Alex?s son, Santiago, and the young man helping him install my cabinets. I bought them lunch since they were there without anything to eat and after they were finished I tipped them very generously. Just goes to reinforce the old saying ?no good deed goes unpunished.? The original installation took longer than they anticipated. Alex told me he would finish in one day. The first day it was just Alex?s son and another young man until about 3:30 when Alex showed up. When he did show up, he just walked right in and started talking to his son and the other guy. When I went into the kitchen to introduce myself, he was very cold, as if I were somehow bothering him. Alex and his son left, they had another job to go to, and came back a couple of days later to finish the job. At the end of the second day they rushed to get finished, left a mess of wood shavings and sawdust on my front porch, and rehung my front porch door wrong. It would not close, so I had to hire someone else to rehang it properly. I wanted to attach some pictures of the unevenly hung doors and the uneven knob placement, but I do not see a way to attach pictures. It would be very helpful if Angie's list allowed reviewers to attach pictures. If for some reason you decide to go out on a limb and hire this company, then you better make sure everything is done correctly before giving them a check because whatever problem you have after they cash the check is "not their fault."

This company did an EXCELENT JOB on my mothers kitchen counter. I look all over Atlanta Metro Area to find someone that could do this type of work. His price was dead on. Lowes try to charge her $1000 dollars to do this and not even hook her appliances backup. They came and got to work right away with hardly no mess at all. Got done with the counter and tile for the backsplash that day. They did an excellent job! He was a little slow getting to her house from Doraville to Morrow Ga. He did call and keep us informed if he was going to be late. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company and my mom will continue to use this company for more of her construction needs. Thank you Angie's List!
